Hello all, just a bit of blah blah on how I'm organising my and reps for the workouts while trying to drop a few setskilos. Really, it is pretty standard stuff.

Basically, heavy stuff I do my best to stay away from failing a lift while keeping the amount of effective work high.

In the 3-5 Max set, I am looking to have 1 rep in the tank before I put the weight up. For the 5-8 rep range, I do these for sets across and must have at least I clean rep in the tank after the last rep of the last set before the weight goes up.

For my sets in the 10, 12, and 15 rep ranges, I use a combo of volume with effective reps. Where I'm looking for a total rep count of about 10% less than the total reps for doing sets across.

So if using 12s as an example, the sets across total would be 36 reps, I would aim for a total rep count of 32 which approx. 10% less for the weight to progress.
This keeps all the sets close to and at failure or 0 reps in the tank.

Basically, if I'm sure I won't get one more, I do not try. Though sometimes you do need to check to make sure.....lol. This keeps the amount of effective work high and the volume high to keep me happy.

Remember, in total, I am doing about 25% less total reps than usual and 1 less workout every 2 weeks than when I would be trying to build or be in a surplus.

Well, that was a lot of typing hahaha, okay people remember to keep having fun staying strong for life πŸ’ͺ πŸ–– πŸ™‚

Hello all, going through my B workouts, ain't alot different other than the first superset.

These exercise just support the work Aworkouts of the opposite week. B1 supports A2, and B2 supports A1.

That's the only real difference between the A and B workouts. Rest pretty much goes as I described it the previous video about the workouts.

Well.good luck to all at the CAPO Nationals. I will try again for next year. Just keep on having fun staying strong for life πŸ’ͺ πŸ–– πŸ™‚
