After our cancellation last week it was great to see everyone back on Friday night. The first of our daylight savings meet brought pleasant flying conditions for an eager Squadron of athletes. Athletes worked hard this week achieving an impressive 285 PBs. Amazing efforts everyone!

✨ Congratulations to the following 4 athletes who achieved 5 PBs:
Iris (12F), Tyler (12M), Matilda (14F), Liam (16M)

🌟 Congratulations to the Maya (15F) who achieved 6 PBs with an equal PB in the high jump on her 7th event for the night. Amazing!

🌠 This week we welcome the first flying aces of the season. Not one, not two, but three new flying aces. Congratulations to the following athletes who achieved PBs in all 6 of their set events, Fawziyah (9F), Bethany (11F), Morrison (11M). Well done!

🚨 TOMORROW NIGHT’S MEET IS CANCELLED 🚨

We have been watching it all week and after such a beautiful warm day today, the 6:30pm forecast has unfortunately taken a turn for the worse.

With a very high chance of showers and the possibility of thunderstorms, damaging winds, large hail and heavy rain during our meet window, the Committee has made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow night’s meet.

The decision has been made in line with our Extreme Weather Guide, with the safety of our athletes, families, coaches, officials and volunteers coming first. 💙

But there is a silver lining...

We were heading into our fourth meet, while many other local clubs are only just getting their seasons underway. If you’re still keen for some athletics action this weekend, check out what other clubs have on.

Just remember that they may be at a different point in their season, so please be respectful of their athletes, families and volunteers if you head along.

For our Jets, enjoy the night off, dodge those weather gremlins, stay safe and come back ready to fly next Friday! ✈️💙

As we look forward to tonight's Pink and Blue Fundraiser here is a quick look at last year's event

After the incredible success of last year’s event, we are excited to announce that the Pink & Blue Fundraiser is back for 2025!

Event Details:
Wednesday, 24th September 2025
6:30pm start (Arrive and register from 6:00pm)
Bridgestone Athletics Centre, Salisbury
Gold Coin Donation

This special NDAC OneClub event is open to all NDAC members – Little Athletics, Senior Athletes, Social Athletes & RecRunners – plus family, friends & the wider community.

Together, we’ll raise awareness and funds for two important causes: Breast Cancer and Prostate Cancer.

The Challenge:
How many laps of Bridgestone can YOU run or walk in…
- 58 minutes honouring the 58 Australians diagnosed with breast cancer every day
- 72 minutes honouring the 72 Australians diagnosed with prostate cancer every day
Last year, 147runners, walkers and joggers came together and raised $3,517.95.
Let’s see if we can go even bigger in 2025!

How You Can Get Involved:
Join us on the night in your Jets gear with a splash of pink and/or blue and NDAC will donate $1
Make a pledge: Pledge a $ amount per km that you run on the night track your kms then donate that amount to one of the charities below

💗💙 PINK & BLUE IS BACK TOMORROW! 💙💗
After raising an incredible $6,792.95 over the past two years, the NDAC Pink & Blue Fundraiser is back for 2026… and this year, we’re setting our sights on reaching the $10,000 mark!

Tomorrow night (Wednesday 23 September), the whole NDAC OneClub community comes together at Bridgestone Athletics Centre to raise awareness and funds for two causes that affect so many families: Breast Cancer and Prostate Cancer.

A CHALLENGE WITH PURPOSE
Choose your challenge and hit the track:
💗 56 MINUTES of running or walking for Breast Cancer awareness
💙 79 MINUTES of running or walking for Prostate Cancer awareness
Run. Walk. Jog. Cheer. Every lap counts.
And you don’t need to be a runner to be part of it. Little Athletes, Senior Athletes, Social Athletes, RecRunners, families, friends and the wider community are all welcome.

HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED
👕 Wear your Jets gear or come with a splash of pink and/or blue and NDAC will donate $1 on your behalf.
🏃 Make a pledge by choosing an amount per kilometre, then donate what you raise to one of the charities below.
