Baden-Powell Park Scout Campsite

A huge thanks goes to the Grovely Tafe Conservation and Ecosystems students who recently come to Baden Powell Park to clean out our creek. It’s a huge job with many years of flooding bringing lots of miscellaneous items down the creek.

Baden-Powell Park has had a sea change! Love seeing Scouts and Guides coming together to help kids from the community experience our kind of fun.

Support from the community helps keep up running. Thank you to Osson Tiling Solutions for coming out to get things fixed up before our next big event.

Thank you to the community members, Pamphlet-Tennyson Cubs, and equipment store team who came to site this morning to help the committee. 145 native plants along the Cash Ave fence line are all in their new home. Huge effort and looks amazing. Now to watch them grow. Thank you to Moreton Bay Regional Council for providing the funds to complete this project.

On Saturday the 25/11/23 we are having a tree planting day at Baden-Powell Park Scout Campsite, the trees will be planted along Cash ave to replace all the beautiful trees and form a new fence line.

We would love some helpers, if you're interested please complete the form below. We will be giving out BP park camp badges for all attendees, friends and family welcome.

Thank you to the 20 people that showed up to our working bee today. We got an enormous amount achieved with loading all the scrap & rubbish that’s been located at the park and starting to collect more for our next working bee.

~WORKING BEE~

We are looking for volunteers for a working bee at the park on the 12th of November 2023 starting at 8am

Volunteers only need to bring a Hat, Gloves, appopriate clothing (sun safe, protective etc...) and a water bottle

We will be doing clean up of rubbish left around the park.over the years, which will be take to a central location to be disposed of.
