I just wanted to share a huge milestone for the unstoppable Suz Blackadder . Since the 13th of February this year, Suz has lost over 30kg and we aren’t done here yet 💪🏻. In the new year, we are switching to more strength based training to focus on shape as well as building her metabolic rate even higher than we have already achieved.

Suz signed up for the 8 week challenge at the start of the year, and not only blew me away with her dedication but also results.

Suz now follows my weekly meal plans during the week, but enjoys two days of intuitive eating over the weekends. This is so important to incorporate so you don’t miss out on family celebrations, socialising and events. Don’t get me wrong, she worked hard to get herself where she is today - but she is walking, talking fabulous proof that if you want something bad enough, you can make it happen - without sacrificing life along the way.

I am honoured that she has trusted me since get go and will continue on with me all around AUS.

You are an inspiration Suz, to not only me but everyone around you!

Commit to Fit Challenge number # 4 is around the corner!

The last challenge of the year, kicking off on Monday the 10th of July 2023!

Over the last three challenges, my clients have lost a combined total of 309kg and 85% have kept it off and continued on their health and fitness journeys with some astounding transformations!

As the old cliche goes, summer bodies are created in the winter - and that's exactly what we will be sure to do!

Another massive congratulations to this amazing woman.

Lyndall took out 6th place in a massive line up (close to 40 competitors) a few weeks back. The woman is a machine, not to mention a mother of two, an amazing friend and someone who can hack absolutely anything I throw at her.

The world stage is calling… and I’m not taking no for an answer (as per usual).

So much, love, respect and proud tears for you.

Can’t wait to see where we take it next ✨😜🔥

I just want to say a huge congratulations to the gorgeous .steedman for competing in her first show last weekend.

Liss first came to me for general strength coaching but the dream and purpose quickly grew into stepping on stage for the first time. And not just any stage… the WBFF Australia stage - a stage that no international amateurs want to compete on as its line up is known as the toughest even by a world standard. It takes heart - and boy does this girl have it.

Only a competitor (and everyone who lives with them 😅) knows just how tough prep can be - especially your first, but the woman was on a mission and I could not be prouder to call her a client, but even more importantly a friend.

steedman I hope you feel so proud of everything you have achieved so far, and everything you are working towards.

This is just the beginning. One proud 🦆 over here 🤩❤️💕

A word from Heidi;

If you have seen the Commit to fit 2 poster and you are sitting on the fence as to whether to take the plunge and join, please consider my advice and DO it. I participated in Ash Conroy Fit Sector Commit to Fit 1 to loose some stubborn kilos and ended up winning the challenge! I lost 11.7kg and have maintained and kept it off. It was not easy but having Ash as my personal trainer and constant support was my peace of mind I could achieve my goals. Ash designed the perfect meal plans that were truly enjoyable (you wouldn't even know that it's a diet they were that tasty, and kept my hunger at bay) Full disclosure it was not easy and at the 4 week mark I struggled. Ash being the great trainer she is, recognised this and pulled out some extra tricks in her arsenal to help me achieve my goal. I am doing Commit to Fit 2, this time I have different goals, with Ash behind me I know I am going to reach them . What are you waiting for? This girl has worked consistently and patiently over the last few months.
She has refused to let anything beat her and it shows.

Tay is making her debut on the stage in 11 weeks time and I cannot wait to see the package she brings to stage.

So proud I literally cried!

It’s that crazy time of year again…. parties, functions, events, family get togethers… wine, desert and all forms of edible celebration.

I’m all for it personally - but what about your health, nutrition and fitness over this period ?

I am going to participate in it and so should you.

However that’s not to suggest that you abandon your routine and eating well where you can.

A few tips to ensure that you still get to enjoy this time of year but not let everything fall by the way side.

1. Still exercise - keep your routine and if you miss a session or two during the week don’t look at it like a failure or a set back. Instead do what you can and have time for. One session is better then none at all.

2. Prep your meals for the work week - one meal out or drinks on the weekend won’t ruin your progress but giving up entirely will and will only make January so much harder to get back into the swing of things.

3. Drink more water, the weather will ensure you are losing fluid a lot faster - especially leading up to and after 🍷 🍸 💃 🕺🏻

4. Step away from the scales.. if you know that seeing higher numbers discourages you completely. A lot of the time rapid weight fluctuations are a result of fluid retention, increase in carbs and well 🍷 not body fat.

6. If daily nutrition tracking seems too messy over this period or will make you feel bad about nutritional choices then allow yourself days untracked - however still ensure this is part of your routine by tracking days that you are able. The ATE photo collage app is great for this - when you are unsure of exactly what is in the food you are consuming but wish to stay accountable.

5. When you decide you are going off plan, then embrace that. Don’t feel guilty once you have done it. Own it and feel good about it. We all deserve a reward and to let our hair down.
