Congratulations to our 19 TDR & TDR Junior athletes competing at the 2026 AUS XC Nationals on Saturday!!

With a muddy course and tough competition, our athletes showed determination and gave it everything. 💪

A big shout out to:
Violet for placing 2nd in the U18 Women’s 4km!!
Ivy - 6th in the U13 Girls 3km
Jonty - 21st in the U13 Boys 3km

Congratulations Violet! What versatility. National medallist at 800, 1500, XC. Amazing.

Nikolai and Violet took out the 4.5km race for men and women, with Ashton 2nd for men, Jett, Dougie, Archie, as well as our junior athletes Jonty, Hannah, Felix and April not too far behind 😊.

Congratulations to the 107 athletes who have been selected to represent Tasmania at the 2026 Australian Athletics Cross Country Championships later this month.

With one of our largest teams in recent years, we're excited to see so many athletes proudly wearing the Tasmanian colours on the national stage.

We wish you well in your preparations and look forward to seeing you compete in Ballarat 🏃

A number of years ago after a TDR Vic Milers trip, the squad was running around The Tan & ran into Abbey Caldwell. Last night Abbey won the Commonwealth Games mile. What a superstar she is and what a fantastic inspiration she is for all athletes. Many congratulations to Abbey and her coach Gavin from our whole squad.
