Exciting new direction for Junior rugby in the state! This is a great compliment to existing junior club rugby and a way to increase exposure and participation across all ages.
Tomorrow we make a little bit of Rugby history in Tasmania.
The first ever SATIS Rugby Competition kicks off tomorrow afternoon and we cannot wait to see schools from across the south hit the field.
Whether you are brand new to Rugby or already love the game, SATIS Rugby is all about getting involved, having fun with friends, learning new skills and giving something different a go.
Fast. Fun. Social. Competitive.
With both contact and non contact options available, there is something for everyone and we are excited to see more than 400 Tasmanian students experience Rugby through the program across Term 2.
A massive thank you to Rugby Australia for supporting this exciting new initiative, along with all the schools, teachers, volunteers and students helping bring it to life.
Good luck to everyone taking part tomorrow. Get out there, enjoy yourselves and be part of the start of something special.

Colts Program Update β Confirm Your Interest
The Tasmanian Rugby Colts Program is moving forward and it is now time for players to confirm their interest in being part of the 2026 squad.
Our coaching group has now been appointed and planning is well underway for the program, including a representative tour scheduled for mid-September.
This initiative provides an important pathway for players aged 18β21, bridging the gap between junior rugby and the Tasmanian senior representative program, while offering the opportunity to train and compete in a high performance environment.
If you are interested in being considered for the squad, please complete the Expression of Interest form below.
