THE LIONESSES ARE OFFICIALLY INTO THE GRAND FINAL!

For the third year in a row, the Hutchins Lionesses will play against Claremont in the big dance🏆

It’s been a massive year for this group, and yesterday was another test of just how much fight this team has.

Up against a determined Cygnet outfit, we battled right until the final siren in what was a tough, hard-fought contest. Cygnet came out ready to play, but the girls refused to let up.

With the game hanging in the balance, the Lionesses found a crucial goal in the final quarter, doing just enough to get over the line and secure the win 31–27. 💪

Now, it’s time for the Grand Final.

What a Preliminary Final we have!! 2 of the best side face off 1 last time to book there spot into the Grand Final against Claremont Football Club - Tasmania.

Both sides all year long have played in close game with Hutchins winning it 2-1, but Cygnet caused a huge upset in the Qualifying Final using the conditions to their advantage.

Honestly it way to close to call on who will win! All I know is we're in for a cracking game!

The race for the Grand Final goes down this weekend, and the Lionesses are ready to put absolutely everything on the line for a shot at the final dance next weekend.

It couldn’t be closer. Cygnet and the Lionesses have won the same number of games this season, leaving everything to be decided on Saturday. There’s nothing between them — and there’s certainly no room for error.

Coach Harris will be moving the magnets, while co-captains Sophie Botterill-James and Mimosa Middleton-Miller have the girls fired up and ready for the biggest battle of the season. 💪🦁

And with the Metro buses FREE, there’s no excuse not to get yourself down to Pembroke Park and get behind the girls! 🚌 🚎

LET’S GET THE GIRLS INTO THE GRAND FINAL. 🦁🔥

With the season on the line in an elimination final, the girls delivered a huge performance to defeat New Norfolk 61–27 and keep our finals campaign alive.

Emma Upton led from the front from the very first bounce, setting the tone early. In game number 50, Molly Crosby battled hard all day and played her part in a memorable milestone win.

Crawf, Nell and Amy provided plenty of drive around the ground, attacking the contest and staying tough at the footy as the Lionesses pulled away to secure the win.

There’s no slowing down now. We turn our attention to Cygnet at Sorell, with another must-win clash standing between us and a spot in the Grand Final 🦁🦁
