The South Hobart Sandy Bay Cricket Club was formed at a meeting held on Thursday 20th August 1987 when members of the South Hobart Cricket Club & the Sandy Bay Cricket Club agreed to amalgamate & become members of the new club. The Navy in the Club's colours comes from Sandy Bay while the Sky Blue comes from South Hobart. The inaugural President of the Club was Mr Peter Murfett with Mr Kevin Wilso

Gabe Bell has already returned home following a successful county stint, while Tom Willoughby, Archie Banks-Smith, James Turnbull & Josh Brazendale are all playing in northern England.

Couldn’t fault our effort, but 3rd Grade couldn’t bowl Clarence out in time to make a game of it.

Not our weekend - congratulations to deserving Premiers Clarence who were too good with the bat, finishing 8/340 before we shook hands.
Congratulations also to our young group of 3rd Graders who fought right until the end, and had a magnificent season to finish runners-up against the odds with a young team who have shown an enormous amount of improvement throughout the season. Time to put the feet up for a while! 🦈 🏏

Stumps on day 1 of the 3rd Grade Grand Final & Clarence are 4/288. We toiled hard all day, with Blake Johannesen being the pick of the bowlers taking 3/51 off 21 overs. We go again from 10:30am tomorrow! 🦈 🏏
