Our very First Ladies day on the jetty was held yesterday with 38 wonderful participants plus their supporters (kids, fathers, husbands etc.)
The weather turned out to be a magnificent day and everyone had a great afternoon.
Fish caught included:
Trevally, Bream and whiting, all being released. Biggest fish was a 37cm Trevally followed by a 30cm Bream.
The lucky winners received some beautiful jewellery from Prouds and a stunning Serenade handbag. We even had a Best Dressed prize.
It was pleasing to see ladies that only met for the first time today on the jetty having a drink together at the club after the presentation. It’s a great social event.
Thank you to everyone for supporting our club and a special thanks to the ST George Motor Boat Fishing Club members who helped on the day.

SAVE THE DATE!!! Following the success of our Kids Fishing Clinics and the keen Mums who throw a line in while they are there we are running a “one off”Event for the ladies. Calling all Mums, Nannas, Aunties, Sisters, Friends all are welcome. No experience needed.
Kids are welcome to come and watch Mum but they need to be over 16 to be eligible to win a prize.
The quality prizes include:
Gold & sterling silver jewellery from Prouds Jewellers
A stunning handbag from Serenade Leather
Over $800 value in prizes.
Our event is FREE just bring a rod, chair if required, we supply bait, assistance and lots of fun. This is held on ‘F’ arm at the cub.
