Permanent Part-Time Position
About Sarina Golf Club: Sarina Golf Club, nestled amidst the rolling hills of Queensland, is a vibrant golfing community that values exceptional service and a love for the game. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Customer Service/Golf Club Attendant.
Key Attributes Required:
• Strong Work Ethic: A commitment to hard work and a willingness to collaborate within a team environment.
• RSA Certification: Must have or be willing to obtain Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
• Passion for Customer Service: A genuine desire to create positive experiences for our members and guests.

• Enthusiasm and Self-Motivation: A positive attitude and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Professional Presentation: Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
• Computer Literacy: Knowledge of the Mi Club booking system is advantageous but not essential.
• Bar Experience: Familiarity with bar operations and service.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Customer Service/Bar Service:
o Provide friendly and efficient service to patrons at the bar and clubhouse.
o Handle transactions, serve beverages, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Tee Time and Golf Cart Bookings:
o Assist golfers with tee time reservations and golf cart rentals.
o Coordinate bookings efficiently to optimize course availability.
• Food Preparation:
o Assist in basic food preparation for the clubhouse.
o Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the food service area.
• Event Support:
o Collaborate with event organizers during tournaments, social functions, and special events.
o Help set up and manage event logistics.
• General Cleaning Duties:
o Maintain cleanliness in the clubhouse, bar area, and golf cart fleet.
o Regularly inspect and tidy communal spaces.
o Weekday cleaning shifts
Position Details:
Weekend-Based: The position primarily involves weekend shifts.
Weekday Shifts: Two five-hour cleaning/bar shifts during the week. (Primarily cleaning)
Start Time: Must be available to start at 7:00 AM on weekdays and Weekends.
Approx 30 hours per fortnight. Rotating weekly Roster – every 3 weeks, one full weekend off.
Cover weekday shifts as required.
Remuneration:
Salary will be in line with the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award and commensurate with experience.
