is a support minded group that offers paddling opportunities to all breast cancer survivors and supporters. Bosom Buddies (both male and female) are our friends and supporters and help us in every way possible. We celebrate life together, paddling, eating and laughing a lot! No particular level of fitness or paddling experience is required. Enjoy great exercise in the fresh air, fun and camaraderie. Paddles and life jackets are available to borrow. Are you currently undergoing treatment or living beyond breast cancer?

Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to paddle in a dragon boat?

This Saturday is your opportunity to find out!

The Redcliffe Pink Snapdragons would love to welcome more survivors to experience the friendship, support and fun of paddling together.

Only paddlers who have been diagnosed with breast cancer are eligible to compete in Breast Cancer Paddler, or BCP, regattas and events. By joining us, you could become part of a unique team of survivors who paddle with strength, purpose and pride.

☕ Morning tea afterwards
💗 Supporters are welcome to come along too!

Please bring:
👕 Comfortable workout clothing
👟 Water shoes or shoes that can get wet

All paddling equipment is provided.

🩷🐉 Small but Mighty Snappies! 🐉🩷

Beautiful morning out on the canals with our small but mighty crew of ladies in the Pink boat! ☀️💕 With a little wind about, we kept to the sheltered canals.

A special shoutout to Gemma and Kim Logan, who have started training towards becoming qualified sweeps! A huge thank you to the incredible Del Martin for sharing her knowledge and guiding both Gemma and Kim. 👏🩷

After paddling, we gathered around Jayne’s Garden to sing our song. Thanks to Craig Munce, Redcliffe Red Dragons president, for taking our group photo! 📸

We finished off with a lovely coffee, breakfast and plenty of laughs at Over There Cafe! ☕🥐

Great paddling, great company and a wonderful start to the weekend! 🩷🐉

“I’VE NEVER TRIED DRAGON BOATING, IS THAT OKAY?”
Absolutely! 💗🐉

Our free Come and Try morning is designed to introduce those currently undergoing treatment or living beyond breast cancer to dragon boating in a safe, friendly and supportive environment.

No previous paddling experience is needed, and all equipment will be provided. Our members will guide and encourage you while helping you participate at a level that feels right for you.

We would especially love to welcome more breast cancer survivors to our club. Only paddlers who have been diagnosed with breast cancer are eligible to compete in Breast Cancer Paddler, or BCP, regattas and events, making every new survivor who joins our team incredibly valuable.

OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 💗

For the Redcliffe Pink Snapdragons, Pink October is about more than wearing pink.

It is about honouring those we have lost, standing beside those currently facing breast cancer and celebrating the courage and strength of survivors.

It is also a reminder of the importance of awareness, early detection, community and ongoing support.

Throughout October, we’ll be sharing more about our club, our Pink October Raffle and our free Come and Try morning on Saturday 17 October.

Together, we raise awareness.
Together, we support survivors.
Together, we make waves.
