Health is as simple as it is complicated.....
You’re in the drivers seat of your own journey!
Where you stop, & who you ask for directions can only influence your journey, not decide it!
Your beliefs, choices, and actions are the main things that can decide your outcomes...
If you have been putting others first, yet still feel drained, unappreciated, burnt out, and frustrated...
Is it time to choose you more often, rather than putting everyone first?
There is more to life than feeling sorry for yourself, and only you can do something about it?
It's your time to shine!!!

When I'm 85 and my doctor asks me what do I take?
I aim to reply with...
The stairs! 😁
In all seriousness though, moving your body in a way that is sustainable and enjoyable now will trump trying to find the most intense workout that you do once and never again!
At Brighton Group Fitness & PT, we specialise in fitness and lifestyle coaching for locals in their 40s, 50s, and 60+ by programming enjoyable workouts that you are able to do for many years to come (our eldest member is 80 years young, so what's stopping you?)!
Every week our members get access to strength, mobility, and fitness focused sessions for all fitness levels.
Choose from the following session types:
Strength & Toning
Cross-Training
Mat-Pilates
Yoga
Box Fit (Boxing for fitness)
Core 'n' More

If you're watching from the sidelines knowing you need to do something for your fitness, strength, and mobility as you age...

Use it, or lose it...
Healthy ageing isn't about living longer, it's about feeling stronger for longer!
Agree, or disagree???

What if you’re making more progress than you think?
One of the biggest problems with using the scales as your main measure of success is that they only tell you one thing, your body weight.
They don’t tell you that carrying the shopping feels easier.
They don’t tell you that you’re sleeping better, have more energy, or feel more confident.
They don’t measure the fact that you’re saying YES to things you might have avoided six months ago.
They don’t notice that exercise has gone from something you feel you “should” do, to something that’s simply part of your week.
And they certainly don’t measure the extra energy you have to enjoy life with the people who matter to you.
That’s progress too.
In fact, these can be some of the most important signs that what you’re doing is actually working.
Of course, there’s nothing wrong with having a weight loss goal.
But if the number on the scales is the only thing you’re watching, you can easily convince yourself that you’re failing while dozens of other things are moving in the right direction.
So here’s a challenge for you today:
Instead of asking,
“Why hasn’t the number changed more?”
Ask,
“What can I do today that I couldn’t do, or didn’t feel like doing, a few months ago?”
Your answer might surprise you.
Which of these 10 signs of progress have YOU noticed lately?
Or which of these 10 would you love to see if you haven't been exercising much over winter?
Tell us in the comments, even if it seems small.
Sometimes the wins we barely notice are the ones worth celebrating most.
