This afternoon is a rather special 'Tango by the Sea Milonga', as we farewell David Netherway at his last Adelaide Milonga before his move to Geelong! Luckily there are plenty of great tango dancing opportunities in Geelong and Victoria, and we can't wait to welcome David & Louise back to Adelaide when they visit! David has been dancing with Southern Cross Tango for close to 20 years and has been an important and well loved part of our tango community, attending regular classes, practicas, events and festivals, including Buenos Aires at the Beach Summer Tango Festival, Buenos Aires in the Vales, performing in Green Tile Tango show, and more... Here is a small selection of some tango moments with David over the years..the task - spot the David!! See you at Tango by the Sea!

Southern Cross Tango - dancing in South Australia

A warm invitation for tango dancers to register for the upcoming 'Tango Technique Training for Women' program with Adrienne Gil, exploring balance, flow of movement, articulation and control.

This is a semi-private technique course with very limited numbers, so bookings are essential.
Course dates: Saturday 17 October - 7 November, 10am – 11am
4 x Week Course: $90pp (course bookings only)
@ Southern Cross Tango Studio, Seacliff

Train with motivated and dedicated tango dancers who wish to deeply refine their tango skills, knowledge and technique. Wear comfortable clothing, bring socks or flat practice shoes, and your regular tango high heels. Please note the current program is suitable for tango dancers with a minimum of intermediate level of tango experience. *Dancers who are new to tango can register their interest for future course (beginner technique coming soon).
