It’s that time of the year to look towards the upcoming summer surf season. We will be starting winter junior boards sessions this Sunday 16th August at the club.
This will be open to all 25/26 Season financially proficient members from U10s-13’s (age groups for 26-27 season). I will be running this session with help from other AGM’s and coaches from club.
The Sessions will start at 3.00pm at the club. We will have a meeting for interested parents and kids following the session discussing future winter sessions and have a BBQ for those attending.
Participants are recommended to wear wetsuits as it will be cold in the water.
An event will be made in the stack app and if people can RSVP only if they are attending that would be great to assist with planning sessions including water cover.
Additionally any Bronze/SRC holders that are available for water cover for each session would be appreciated. Please come lend a hand.

Just a final reminder that our 73rd Annual General Meeting will be held this Sunday 26 July at 4:00pm.

As we wrap up another fantastic season and look ahead to an exciting year at Semaphore, we'd love to see as many members there as possible. The AGM is a great opportunity to hear about what has been happening around the Club over the past 12 months, celebrate our achievements, and catch up with fellow members as we get ready for another season.

And don't forget – everyone who attends will go into the draw to win our $250 door prize!

If you can't make it in person but would still like to participate, please email [email protected] and a video link will be provided so you can join remotely.

Thank you for your ongoing support of the Club. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday and kicking off another great season together.

See you there!

That’s a wrap on Pool Rescue States for 2026; 3 days, 16 athletes, 15 events, 47 medals and 2 age group champions!

Well done to the whole Semaphore team who absolutely smashed it out of the park with their efforts, showcasing what Semaphore is all about! The level of support amongst the group and between friends from other clubs was truly amazing, but not surprising to watch.

Congratulations to all of the athletes who medaled, there were some wonderful nail biting races to watch today.

A special shout out goes to Ivy Speakman who took out the U11 female age group champion and Jaxx Grygorcewicz who took out the U12 male age group champion along with his mate Phoenix Laws. Superb performances all round!

Huge thank you goes out to all of the parents who volunteered their time over the last 3 days; officiating, time keeping, feeding the athletes and keeping them on track. Our athletes are very lucky to have the family support we have at Semaphore!

A few weeks rest before our U12-Masters athletes compete at Nationals in our home pool 7th - 9th August.
