From a tiny 6-month-old baby to a talented 9-year-old swimmer 🥹💦

Estelle joined our JUMP! family in May 2018, and we've had the privilege of watching her grow and learn ever since!

From the little girl who didn't want to put her head underwater to the little mermaid she is today!🧜‍♀️

Now swimming in Marlin, our final level, Estelle has come such a long way. And this year, she achieved something extra special — competing in her very first school swimming carnival and making it through to Zone to represent her school! 🏅👏

Estelle, we couldn't be prouder of you! Your journey is a wonderful reminder of just how far confidence, practice and determination can take you.

This month, we celebrated our 10th birthday and recognised some of our longest-standing students with special Lifer Certificates 🏅

It’s been a privilege to watch these kids, and all our students, grow, learn and develop their swimming skills over the years. 🥰

Sea otters have been observed holding paws while resting together at the surface.
It can help them stay together rather than drifting apart while they rest.

We think that's pretty adorable. 🥹

🌟🏊‍♀️ JUMP! LIFER SPOTLIGHT – AMITY M! 💙

From a sweet 2-year-old to a confident 11-year-old swimmer — what a journey! 🥹💦

Amity's swimming journey began back in November 2017, when she was just 2 years old. Now 11, she's making waves in Marlin, our final swimming level! 🐬

Getting those nice, strong kicks took a little extra practice, and goggles have never been Amity's favourite thing! 🥽😂 But with persistence and determination, she's come such a long way!

Now swimming in Marlin, our final level, Amity is SO close to graduating our learn-to-swim program! 🏊‍♀️🎓

Watching Amity grow from a little toddler into the capable swimmer she is today is exactly why we love what we do. We are so proud of you Amity!

Why every lesson has no goggles activities.

Nearly 80% of children under 4 who drown do so after accidentally falling into water – fully clothed and without goggles. It’s crucial for children to practice swimming under similar conditions to develop confidence and the ability to react calmly in an emergency.

Learning to swim without goggles also ensures children can open their eyes underwater to look for safety or an escape route.

From a tiny 6-month-old baby to a confident 8½-year-old swimmer — what a journey! 🥹💦

Eleanor joined our JUMP! family in September 2018, and we've had the pleasure of watching her grow ever since!

When Eleanor first started swimming independently, she was a little nervous and putting her eyes in the water was a big challenge. But she always gave it her best! 💪

Fast forward to today, and Eleanor is in our Frog level, has mastered backstroke and is now working on perfecting her freestyle! 🐸🏊‍♀️

Eleanor, we are so proud of how far you've come! It's been such a privilege watching you grow in confidence and ability over the past 8 years.
