🔥 B2 GET THE JOB DONE! 🔥

Another big win for the Suns, with the B2s holding on for a 13-run victory over Taringa Rovers! 💪🏏

💯 Josh Greer – 105*
🏏 Riley Cook – 72

Josh and Riley combined for a huge 165-run 4th wicket partnership, setting the Suns up for a big total and putting the pressure back on the Rovers.

With the ball, Darcy Mitchell (3/45) got things rolling before Corey Oliver (4/17) brought it home in the death overs! 🔥

And it wasn’t just the bowlers doing the work — some outstanding catching and pressure fielding from Cody Argoon, Connor Gordon and Aidan Russell helped get the Suns over the line. 👏

A great team effort and another win on the board! 🟡🔵

🔥 A2 TWO-RUN THRILLER! 🔥

What a game at Eagleby! 😮‍💨🏏

The A2 Suns put 5/207 on the board against The Lakes Knights, led by an incredible unbeaten 108 off 95 balls from Jackson Edwards! 💯🔥

The Knights came out firing, blasting their way to 0/90 after just 12 overs, but the Suns refused to give in.

🎯 Jack Kneebone – 0/19 off 7
🎯 Jakobus Thurecht – 3/34
🎯 Sameera Lakshan – 2/35

The bowlers fought right to the end and the Suns held their nerve to secure a THRILLING TWO-RUN WIN! 💪🔥

What a finish! 🟡🔵

🏏 Weekend Round Up

A strong start to the season for B2, coming away with a hard-fought 140–111 win over Coorparoo.

Cody Argoon helped recover the innings with 46, with Josh Greer and Corey Oliver both contributing 27. Captain Garry Connors then led the way with the ball, taking 4 wickets, while Cody also held two important catches in the outfield.

A2 went down to Warlocks by 6 wickets after posting 146. Jack Dorries top scored with 54, while captain Harry Dorries picked up 2 wickets.

There was a close one for C3, with Bailey Brookes taking an impressive 5/19 to restrict Souths to 129. The Suns fell just four runs short despite a 54-run final-wicket partnership between Prashan 30* and Yogi 14*.

U17 BMC were helped by a match-rescuing 67* from Camden, with A***n adding 46 as the Suns posted 177. The bowlers all contributed, with Jamen finishing with 4/26 and also completing a run out in the field.
