It couldn't have been much closer heading into the final round, with three teams locked together on 39 points and everything still to play for.

Tatura and Shepparton South both secured victories on the final round, leaving the championship to be decided by goal difference — with Tatura doing enough across the season to claim the crown.

When the margins are that fine, every goal across the season counts.

A fantastic season from South's next generation, who have secured the Youth League title and earned their place at the top of the table.
