Scientists gave people UNLIMITED food for two weeks and one group ate significantly more without even trying to 🤯
The difference? The type of food they were given
When people talk about overeating, they’re so quick to make it a personal failure
You need more discipline
More self control
More willpower
But highly processed foods can make it MUCH easier to eat more calories before your body catches up and tells you you’ve had enough
That doesn’t make processed food “bad”
And it definitely doesn’t mean you need to cut out chocolate, takeaway or anything else you love
It means understanding what you’re working with
Because if you keep blaming yourself every time you eat more than you intended to, you’re trying to solve the wrong problem
The goal isn’t to get better at resisting food
It’s to build the majority of your meals around protein, fibre and whole foods that require more active chewing and keep you fuller for longer, while still leaving room to ENJOY the processed foods in moderation 🙌🏼

Hitting your macros perfectly isn’t the goal…
Being able to stay consistent when you DON’T is 🤭
Because if your definition of “on track” is hitting every number perfectly, what happens when you go out for dinner?
When your kids or partner throw something on you that wasn’t part of your plan?
When you’re travelling?
When life just… happens?
For someone with an all-or-nothing mindset, celebrating perfection can actually reinforce the idea that anything less than perfect isn’t good enough
So yes, we teach our clients how to hit their targets for their weight loss goal
But we also teach them how to be 10% over and NOT compensate the next day
How to be 10% under and NOT panic
How to have a meal they can’t track, and move on
How to have an imperfect day without turning it into an imperfect week
Because the goal isn’t to become really good at dieting
It’s to build the skills to get results WITHOUT needing perfect conditions to maintain them 😌

The people you spend the most time with don’t just influence your habits 👇🏼
They influence what feels normal to you - how you eat, how you move, what you prioritise, what you believe and even how you respond when things get hard
When you’re in a tough season, it’s normal to lean on the people closest to you
But it’s worth reflecting on what actually happens after you open up
Are they helping you process and shift perspective?
Or are they (with love) keeping you looped in the same story?
Because not every safe space is a growth space
Sometimes it looks like processing - but it’s actually just rehearsing
The same beliefs
The same identity
The same stuckness
And often it gets labelled as “support” - when really, it’s just familiarity
There’s a difference between being heard and being held back
Not because anyone means to - but because the brain is wired to seek what feels familiar, not what creates change
When a narrative gets repeated enough, it feels safe… even when it’s keeping you stuck
It’s not about cutting people off -
Just being mindful of who you’re letting shape your mindset, habits and identity (especially when you’re most open to influence)
Asking yourself the question - are they someone who reflects the direction you want to grow in?
Because growth requires mirrors, not just echoes
You want people who will hold space, yes - but also gently hold you accountable to the version of you you’re trying to become
📌 I challenge you to save this and do the exercise properly…

“For anyone thinking about making a lifestyle change, absolutely don’t sleep on MGTVY!
Before joining their program I had no food or day to day structure, I also had no knowledge on what food contained or how to use it in a way to lose weight. I was binge eating, I just ate what I felt like when ever i felt like, this then resulted in me gaining 20kgs in around 3 years (i was also 18 months post partum when starting the program)
Now, I’m almost 10kgs down in our first 14 weeks! I can hand on heart say I wouldn’t be at where I am at in my journey without my trainer Lauren H! She never judges me, she ALWAYS supports me and I always feel seen or heard when I need it most.
I eat normal food portions and still even get to enjoy take-aways, treats ect in a controlled way. I have had some limitations with my movement, but being consistent and diligent with tracking food, you absolutely can still get the results you are looking for.
If you’re on the fence or thinking about joining, it will be the best thing you ever do!
Imagine losing 10kgs and catching yourself smiling in the mirror because your face is getting so slimmer you’re just so proud that you’re getting it done? 🤝🏼”
We’re so freaking proud of you and excited to see what’s still to come 😍❤️🔥

One of the most underrated fat loss strategies 👇🏼
Every time you have to ask yourself:
“What should I have for breakfast?”
“What do I feel like for lunch?”
“Do I have the ingredients?”
“Do I have time to make that?”
…you’re creating another opportunity for friction
And the girls who get the best results usually aren’t the ones with more willpower or discipline
They’ve just made following through easier
The goal isn’t to eat chicken and broccoli on repeat forever
It’s to spend some time finding a handful of breakfasts, lunches and dinners you genuinely love - that taste good, keep you full and fit your goals
And once you find them?
Stop constantly looking for something new
Repeat them
I love eating out, trying new restaurants, going away and having meals that are completely different to my usual
I just don’t need every random Tuesday lunch to be a brand-new recipe
Because the more consistent and predictable my normal weeks are, the more flexibility I have for the parts of life where variety actually matters
Sometimes making fat loss easier isn’t about learning how to make better decisions
It’s about giving yourself fewer decisions to make in the first place 👏🏼

She workin’ 😍
“Before joining MGTVY, my life looked very different. I lacked confidence and often turned to food for comfort, which made it difficult to build healthy habits or maintain consistency. I knew I wanted to make a change, but I didn’t have the knowledge or confidence to do it on my own. When I looked in the mirror, I was never truly happy with what I saw, and my lack of confidence affected many areas of my life.
Since starting coaching, my life has changed in more ways than I ever expected. I’ve developed a much healthier relationship with food and now see it as fuel for my body rather than a source of comfort. I’ve learned how to confidently track my calories and macros, understand nutrition labels, and enjoy all of my favourite foods while still making progress toward my goals. Instead of feeling restricted, I’ve learned how to create a balanced lifestyle that is both sustainable and enjoyable.
One of my biggest achievements has been losing 10 kilos - and counting! but the physical changes are only part of my journey. The greatest transformation has been mentally. I’ve built healthy habits that have become part of my everyday life, gained confidence in myself, and learned the importance of consistency over perfection. I feel happier, healthier, and more in control of my choices than ever before.
Where I once looked in the mirror and struggled to like what I saw, now not only can I see the physical changes in my body, but I also see someone who looks happier, more confident, and proud of the progress they’ve made. I am finally starting to appreciate and like the person looking back at me.
What truly exceeded my expectations was the incredible level of support I received throughout the entire coaching experience. I always felt encouraged, motivated, and genuinely cared for. Having someone there to guide me, answer my questions, and celebrate every milestone made such a positive difference and helped keep me accountable every step of the way.
If you’re thinking about signing up but are still on the fence, I can’t recommend it enough. Joining MGTVY has been the best investment I’ve ever made and I’m so grateful I took that first step.”
