REPRESENTATIVE TRIAL SESSIONS

Wednesday 9th September 2026 ❤️🖤

Our Rep Touch trial session is on this Wednesday at Civic Park. All players who submitted an Expression of Interest and any other interested players are to attend.

At this stage, numbers across some age groups are still lower than needed to form a team. If numbers do not increase on Wednesday, we will discuss options with the player and parents groups affected on Wednesday afternoon to determine best path forward.

Session Times:
• U10s – 4:30pm
• U12s – 5:00pm
• U14s – 5:30pm
• U16s, U18s & U20s – 6:00pm

Session Information:
• Player skills, drills and game time
• Brief with players and families about the expectations, competition standards and structure of Representative Touch Football and Tournaments
• Discussion of selections and next steps.

Each age group session will run for approximately 30 minutes.

If you haven’t submitted an EOI but interested in Rep Touch, you’re welcome to please come along.
Please note: You need to be a registered player with Singleton Junior Touch Football for the 2026/2027 Club Season to be eligible to play for a Singleton Storm 2026/2027 Representative team.

Thank you to all the families and players that showed up, and a huge thank you to Chris, Abbey, Zac and Owen for running the sessions.

Whilst we had a great turnout today, numbers across several age groups are still lower than needed for formal trials and team selections.

We encourage everyone who attended today’s sessions, submitted an Expression of Interest, plus any other interested players to come along to next week’s sessions.

📣 REP TOUCH – TOMORROW’S SESSION IS GOING AHEAD! 🌩️🏉

Our Rep Touch session is on tomorrow, at Civic Park and we encourage everyone who has submitted an Expression of Interest - plus any other interested players - to come along.

At this stage, numbers across several age groups are lower than needed to move straight into formal trials and team selection.

Tomorrow will give us a chance to:
• run basic skills, drills and game time;
• talk with families about current numbers and next steps; and
• get your feedback on what may help increase participation in Rep Touch.

We’re particularly interested in hearing whether things like carnival options, travel, costs or season commitments are influencing participation.

Session times:
• U10s – 4:30pm
• U12s – 5:00pm
• U14s – 5:30pm
• U16s, U18s & U20s – 6:00pm

Following tomorrow, we’ll continue a push for additional players over the coming week, with the aim of holding formal trials the following week where sufficient numbers are reached.

Singleton Junior Touch Football Association is seeking Expressions of Interest from players for the 2026/2027 Junior Representative Season for the following age groups.
