Hello parkies.

Weather is look great for parkrun this weekend if you like the wet stuff, maybe a mm or two? Hope to see you all there.
We are also on the hunt for a barcode scanner and a marshal or or three. Slip us a message if you would like to help out.

Well done to all 101 of you who ran, walked or jumped in puddles and had a great start to the weekend! Even a few PBs amongst the crowd! 📣 well done!

We had visitors from Sydney, Newcastle and Temora
We have a growing pile of lost property in our shed. Today’s contributions were a Yeti, child’s hat and a maroon long sleeve shirt (see photos). We’ll hold on to them for now but please let us know if something is yours 😁

The upcoming weeks are looking a little light on for our volunteer rosters so please consider putting your hand up when possible🙋‍♂️

We love our Singleton Parkrunners & you guys love Parkrun! So much so, we have a nearly full roster for this Saturday already 😎 legends!

Just on the lookout for two special roles 👀
• An extra barcode scanner (can be filled by a super speedy runner)
• & a marshal (or two)

Both roles are super easy and you can brag to your friends that you volunteered after 😉

If either of these positions are calling to you, please reach out 💬

Singleton Parkrun # 561
3/10/2026

What a perfect start to a long weekend, Singleton Parkrun...

Today we had many visitors and first timers, 33 in fact. With visitors from Port Macquarie, Perth, Wangaratta, Sydney and Bourke, please visit us again and thank you for coming.

The more mild conditions saw some great PB's with Daniel Cope clocking a nice PB in #1 position. There were a total of 20 PB's today so congratulations to all, PB's can be elusive.

Thank you to our valued volunteers for this week, without whom we don't run...

Libby GRESHAM; Michele CLIFTON; Irene MELDRUM; Lizan VAN NIEKERK; Helen SHEARER; Kelly THOMAS; Sarah DUNN; Tracy HARWOOD; David SHEARER; Janean ANGUS; Julie BULLOCK

Also, thank you for donations toward our zooper dooper stash, they are well enjoyed at the end of the run.

Please check out our volunteer roster for future Parkruns, plenty of capacity for you to volunteer.

As October is Mental Health awareness month across Parkrun. Have a conversation, check in, you may never know the difference you could make to someone.

Until next Parkrun at Rose Point Park, run well, keep safe and always be kind...... L

Good morning all, it is again Parkrun eve. Tomorrow is looking to be a stunning day with a balmy 19C at our start time.

Join us for a jaunt along the banks of the Hunter with Rose Point Park looking sensational at the moment. Excellent job council parks and garden staff.

If you haven’t done Parkrun before, register online, arrive at 7.45am near the netball courts, guaranteed you will love it.

See you tomorrow 🏃🏼‍➡️🏃🏽‍♀️‍➡️

Tutus at the ready!

Did you know that when parkrunday falls on the 22nd of the month, it becomes Tutu Day?

So, for our 22nd birthday, we want to go one step further with a sea of tutus at parkrun this weekend.

Who’s in? 🧡

30/09/2026

Hi all, just require someone for finish tokens. If you would like to do so after you run, particularly if you have some pace, that is fine.

Let me know if you are able to assist.
