🏃‍♀️ A new long jump facility, incorporating both juniors and seniors - almost finished.

We’re looking forward to seeing these works completed and to the future plans for Munno Para Athletics Centre

Growing for Gold is back, giving kids aged 3–16 the chance to get active, try something new and connect with a local sporting club. 🙌

This year's program will be held from 26 September to 11 October 2026.

From cricket to athletics, basketball, taekwondo to boxing and plenty more, there’s something for all interests, abilities and skill levels.

The free come-and-try sessions are held at sporting clubs across Playford and other local council areas in a safe and welcoming environment.

No experience is needed, just a willingness to get involved and have a go! 🌟

Growing for Gold is a partnership between the Cities of Playford, Port Adelaide Enfield, Salisbury, Tea Tree Gully and the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing.

Registrations are now open for the 2026 Growing for Gold Program. We are inviting children aged between 3 and 16 years old to come along to Munno Para Athletics Centre and give athletics a try for free!
