Your order is the artefact, not the intention.

Write the exact line you'll say at the table at your next events. Steak, double vegetables, no bread basket, one glass. Then paste it into the calendar invite for that function so it's sitting there waiting when you walk in.

Three functions written in advance moves roughly 150 meals a year out of the room and into a decision you made cold, at your desk, with a clear head.

You can train hard for a year and look identical to the day you started. Usually it is not effort. It is that you keep no record of what you did last session, so every workout becomes a guess.

Muscle only changes when you force it to do slightly more than last time. That is progressive overload, and you cannot beat a number you never wrote down.

Track every set, every rep, every load, then progress on rails. Add reps to the top of your range with clean form, then add weight and reset the reps. Reps first, then load.

This is why I either log every client session, or my clients log their workouts, inside my customised app. It is version control for the body. You never start from zero, you build on the last confirmed number.

Do that consistently and the change stops being about motivation and starts being math.

Your resting heart rate isn't just a random number, it's the ultimate indicator of your physical system's efficiency and longevity.

Check your data tomorrow morning before you get out of bed. Where do you sit?

👇 If you want the exact system I use with my 'Root Acc ' clients to fix an elevated RHR fast, drop "RHR" in the comments or DM me.

Complexity is the enemy of ex*****on. If your fitness plan requires a PhD to follow, you’ll never stay consistent enough to see the compounding interest.

This week, we aren't "trying" to be perfect. We are simply executing on a repeatable system. One move, one meal, one rest cycle.

Keep it simple. Get it done. Bank the win.

Networking is not the problem.

Unplanned drinking under professional pressure is. If tomorrow matters, tonight needs a standard. Decide before you arrive, not after the room starts influencing you.

Save this for your next event, or comment EVENTS if you want more networking content.

The 3pm break room biscuit used to be my corporate survival strategy. For 30 years, I navigated back-to-back meetings and project deadlines by masking my exhaustion with a sugar or salt-induced afternoon coma.

But on the road to hitting 50 in the best shape of my life, I’m wiping the slate clean with a strict 14-day Whole Foods challenge.

Day 1 is officially in the books, and honestly? The hardest part wasn't the hunger. It was adopting the mindset required to bypass the office crackers like I used to bypass HR emails.

Here is exactly how I fueled the machine yesterday without crashing:

Snacks: Fresh fruit and mixed unsalted nuts (no emergency biscuits required).

Lunch: Clean, light, and focused fish and a large salad.

Dinner: The ultimate grounding meal of chicken, quinoa, and vegetables.

Here is the truth for my fellow professionals still deep in the grind: you can manage complex processes and systems all day, but your physical foundation is the one system you cannot just reboot when it finally crashes.

Rebuilding your edge doesn't start on the plate; it starts by forging an unbreakable mindset. Once you lock in that mindset, the daily ex*****on actually becomes the easy part.

I’m 24 hours into the clean slate, what’s the one snack that usually derails your entire workday?

Food is fuel first, everything else second.

For the next 14 days, I’m stripping away the noise. No processed junk, no extras, just 100% whole foods, water, and my daily coffee.

As part of my Road to 50, I’m doing an extreme two-week reset. I know some people say we shouldn’t only look at food as fuel, and sure, there’s a time and place for food to be about connection and enjoyment. But I believe that should be the exception, not the everyday rule. The primary purpose of eating? To keep the engine running.

My goals for the next two weeks:
📉 Drop body fat
🔋 Spike my energy levels
🧠 Optimize my overall well-being

I’ll be checking in daily. Let’s see what happens when we go back to basics. Track the miles daily. 👊
