Our foundation is based on well-thought-out and progressive training systems, with a 'simple works' approach. We are very traditional in the sense of how we train and physically prepare those we work with, but more importantly our brand is built on relationships, connection and trust.

Everyone wants to perform when it matters.

But the foundations for those moments that define us are built well before stepping into the contest.

Are you putting in the work required? What you doing when people aren’t watching?

Because high performance isn’t just about what happens on game day.

It’s about the intent, the effort and the work you consistently put in to get there.

Success isn’t given, it’s earned 👊🏼

Building a private-sector facility from the ground up is something a lot of coaches want to do.

Identifying risk is something I’m either not good at or it’s just a case of not giving it the chance to fail.

Whichever way you look at it I just keep coming back to the same conclusion…

“What’s the worst thing that can happen?”

And in my opinion it’s probably not as bad as what you think.

Obviously you want to plan well and do your research. But at the same time does the upside outweigh the downside?

You can apply this concept to absolutely anything.

Be courageous and get to work 🔨

School holidays aren’t just about taking a break, for some they’re an opportunity to get ahead.

And that’s exactly what these boys did…

👉🏻 Chase is a local therefore he works with us in-person every week, so it was regular programming for him.

👉🏻 However, Finn lives further away and trains with us via our Online option so we chose to take advantage of the time we had.

With fewer commitments and more flexibility, all of our younger athletes had the chance to dedicate a focused two-week block to their development.

The more ‘learning opportunities’ we can offer our junior athletes, the greater the effectiveness of our program.

Especially when we have members such as Finn who work with us more remotely.

A two-week intensive won’t transform an athlete overnight, but it can build valuable momentum heading into the next training block.

Keep up the great work boys, looking forward to having us all together in the gym again soon!

Training lately…

The excitement-curve that comes with this time of year has been in full swing!

Everyone is building momentum and giving themselves the best opportunity for success.

📊 We’re continuing to ramp up the testing and monitoring process.

👊🏼 As the weather improves the floor is busier longer into the days.

🏃 Introducing dedicated ‘return to run’ sessions for injured members.

🕺🏼 The general feeling and community around the gym is the best it’s been.

We will continue to raise the bar and start looking to close out another brilliant year!

Keep the ball rolling.

We’re here to take you through every stage of the rehabilitation process.

Everyone wants to see the end result, but very few see the amount of work it takes to get there…

Whilst every stage faces its own set of challenges, of which comes with a purpose behind each action.

From the early stages of injury management to rebuilding strength, confidence and physical capacity…

It all matters, it all counts.

Speak to us about the Peak Performance process.

The work adds up 📈

Another strong season for our Mornington girls!

Athletic development isn’t built from one session, one exercise or a single block of training…

It comes from consistent exposure to an accumulation of strength, speed and power a long period of time!

That’s the standard and these girls are most definitely living up to it.

Looking forward to seeing what doors open next.

In a world where AI is going to make answers easier to access. How are you going maintain your ability of ‘Critical Thinking?’

Everyone is using it, no doubt. However the real skill moving forward will be how well you can make make impactful decisions - by yourself.

In my opinion, this is a scary thought for those who aren’t able to recognise it. I guess time will tell, one thing is for certain and that is good principles will never change.

What do you think? 💭

One of the biggest improvements we’ve made with Lumin isn’t just what our athletes see…

It’s also what it allows our coaches to do…

👉🏻 Have presence and engage around the
gym floor.

👉🏻 Access programs and make edits wherever we need them.

👉🏻 Individualise the experience for the person in front of us.

Technology should never replace our ability to coach, but it adds significant value to be available when it matters most.
