Thank you to everyone who attended Saturday's W**e and Food evening, with . Feedback from one of our Members: "The food was amazing. W**e presentation excellent with lots of questions from the guests. Trofeo is Italian for trophy and they are famous for their ancient method of w**e production using terracotta amphora, allowing for a more pure fruit expression".
The menu consisted of a four course dinner with matching w**es, including:
Sourdough bread, whipped butter
Albacore tuna and ocean trout ceviche, buttermilk dressing, apple, caviar
Smoked wild mushroom tortellini, parmesan cream
Wagyu sirloin, celeriac, beetroot, kipfler potato, red w**e jus
Lemon curd, vanilla pear, frozen yoghurt, meringue.

SSCBC and Commodore Scott Llewelyn joins the Victorian and wider Australian sailing community in acknowledging the passing of Ian “Bunny” Warren, who passed away peacefully on 9 June surrounded by family.

Bunny was one of sailing’s most respected coaches and mentors, with a lasting influence from grassroots sailing through to Olympic campaigns. Many SSCBC sailors were fortunate to benefit from his coaching, guidance and encouragement, with a number going on to achieve outstanding success in the sport.

On behalf of SSCBC, we extend our sincere condolences to Bunny’s family, friends, colleagues and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
