The Sorrento Tennis Club AGM is to be held in our Clubroom this Friday 31st July. Refreshments will be served from 5.30pm onwards with the meeting to commence at 6pm. All members are very welcome to attend.

Thursday Nights in TERM 3 will be a ladies social tennis night.

🎾 a great way to get back into tennis without the commitment

The Section 1 Ladies team and Section 3 Men's team have attained notable triumphs, securing their respective premierships in the PTA summer night competition. Congratulations!

Important Notice: Annual General Meeting. The Sorrento Tennis Club will hold its Annual General Meeting on Friday, 31st July 2026, at 6:00 pm in our Clubroom. Members are requested to arrive from 5:30 pm onwards for light refreshments. All members are cordially invited to attend.

A fun time was had by all in our 2026 Club Championships. The rain stayed away and we enjoyed near perfect weather for our Friday night singles event. Congratulations to Jack Taylor and Cathy Cooke for winning the Men’s and Women’s Singles Club Championships.
On Saturday morning our juniors fought for the Junior Singles Championship Trophy. Congratulations to all players. Tyler Howard was the eventual winner after three very close, hard fought sets. Tyler is our first Junior Singles Champion for several years and we congratulate him on his win.
Open doubles matches commenced at 11am just as the sun appeared. It was fabulous to see spectators and players having fun both on and off the courts. Congratulations to Theo Jaspers and Simon Crabtree for winning the Men’s Doubles, Belinda Henry and Mary Dow for winning Women’s Doubles and Jo Wilson and Chris Guy for winning the Mixed Doubles.
A big thanks to The Continental Hotel in Sorrento for providing vouchers to be presented to all our winners of open events.
The Club thanks Gary Taylor for his fabulous organization of this event. Thanks also to committee members who catered for the event and kept the sausages and onions cooking for everyone!
