Oceania Gymnastics Union (OGU) is the official governing body for Gymnastics in the Oceania region. It constitutes the fifth and final Continental Union for the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG). The role of OGU is to represent and unite the National Gymnastics Federations of the region. With support from FIG, Gymnastics Australia and Gymnastics New Zealand, working collaboratively have assisted to establish National Gymnastics Federations in Fiji, Cook Islands, American Samoa, Tonga, Papua New Guinea and Guam. Whilst ongoing support is provided to these developing Federations, OGU is conducting development activities in Samoa and Vanuatu. OGU is proud to recognise AMCO Gymnastics as an Official Partner. AMCO Gymnastics is the official supplier of the world-class SPEITH Gymnastics equipment in Australia.

A World Championship final for Oceania!

Australia’s Aerobic Dance team has finished 8th in the world at the 19th Aerobic Gymnastics World Championships in Pamplona, improving its qualification score of 16.400 to 16.600 in the final.

Congratulations to all athletes, coaches and officials on representing Oceania on the world stage.

World Championship titles are on the line in Pamplona!

A 10-strong Australian team will represent Oceania at the 19th Aerobic Gymnastics World Championships from 11–13 September, competing across Individual Women, Group and Aerobic Dance.

Athletes from 38 nations will come together in Spain to compete for eight world titles.

We wish all athletes and coaches representing our region the very best as they take to the world stage.

Another step forward for Parkour in Guam.

Parkour development in Guam has taken another step forward following a three-day coaching and development visit supported by the Oceania Gymnastics Union.

Japanese Parkour coach and international judge Jumpei Yakuwa visited Guam from 25–27 August, working with local coaches and participants to build their knowledge of Parkour coaching, safety and athlete development.

Delivered in partnership with the Guam Gymnastics Federation, the visit included two days of coach education followed by an opportunity for local coaches to put their learning into practice with participants.

GGF President Jayne Flores said the training was an important part of the Federation’s ambitions for Parkour.

“Parkour is a growing sport in Guam. This training was very important to us because with this type of continued opportunity, our goal is to have one or two Guam Parkour athletes ready to compete in the 2032 Olympic Games in Brisbane.”

Bringing together gymnasts from across the region for training with expert international coaches.

Open to Senior, Junior and Pre-Junior gymnasts at Development and Performance levels.

Acrobatic Gymnastics Oceania Continental Training Camp
11–14 January 2027 | Brisbane, Australia
Robertson Gymnastics Academy, Tingalpa

Featuring expert international coaches and speakers.

Open to Senior, Junior, Youth, Pre-Youth and Development level gymnasts (Bronze, Silver and Gold).

Gymnastics Australia and Gymnastics New Zealand have wrapped up their campaigns at the 42nd Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Frankfurt, competing alongside a record field of 78 nations.

Congratulations to all of our Oceania representatives who took to the world stage.

The stage is set as the 42nd Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships begin tonight in Frankfurt, Germany.

Gymnastics New Zealand will be represented by Havana Hopman, while Gymnastics Australia will be represented by individual gymnasts Miyabi Akiya, Sofia Hemmings and Veronika Ushakova, along with the Australian Group from Le Ray Gymnastics Academy.
