How lucky we were to have Declan Tingay and Ali Griffin at training this week. Declan is an Olympian and Commonwealth games representative and Ali made her senior team debut at the recent World Championships in Tokyo.

We finished up with a Q+A, giving the kids a chance to learn what it takes to compete at that level!

We will have Olympian DECLAN TINGAY conducting a walks workshop for all our athletes.

Declan is a 2x Olympian (Tokyo 2020 & Paris 2024 10th Place), 2x Australian World Championship Representative (20km Walk) and Birmingham Commonwealth Games Silver Medallist (10,000m Walk).

A great opportunity for the kids to get some expert tips from a world class athlete.

There will be a Q+A session at the end of training also, parents are welcome to come a little earlier to join in and hear from Declan.

The first session will have a running and fitness focus.

Full track and field training will commence the following week, 24th September 5-630pm.

We encourage all returning athletes to spread the word and bring a friend along to trainings over the next few weeks!

There will be a new registration process this year, so stay tuned for more info in the coming week.
