Hi Everyone,

Just letting you all know we're having a little Spring break and closed from Friday 25th - Tuesday 29th September.

And with Christmas fast approaching things are getting busier so please reach out if you need jobs done for presents etc so we can get them all done in time.

And enjoy the warmer weather!

Hi Everyone,

This would have to be one of the most delicate yet truly satisfying projects we have undertaken in our over 5 years of framing.

So, to keep as brief as possible it started with the delivery of 12 Chinese zodiac symbols, hand cut from Red tissue paper with insane details as seen in the close up pics.

Next, how to mount and we decided to shadow mount in 3 individual frames, showcasing 4 symbols within each frame. Black backing was chosen to highlight the bright red of each of the zodiacs, a fairly simple bright gold stepped frame, and Art Glass to complete the project.

And, oh so happy with the finished result, especially when client Wendy sent thru a pic just last week of the 3 frames hanging ever so proudly upon her wall.

And she assured me they were ever so straight, and created an impressive art installation - and we were so proud to be able to pull off such an intricate job.

Phew! Enjoy the pics (Pic number 4 is what we were initially confronted with, and number 5 is Wendy's photo of the finished frames hanging.

Hey Everyone,

Finally got around to sharing this ripper project that left us a few weeks ago. And what a back story to this one!!!

Local guy Rubin celebrated his 18th birthday just recently and was gifted this signed and authentic "Rubin Carter" boxing glove by his wonderful Mum, who had purchased it some 16 years ago, with the plan of being a special gift once he turned 18.

And Rubin was actually named after the legendary "Rubin Carter" also known as "The Hurricane" and featured in an epic movie of the same name released back in 1999. The movie tells the story of Rubin being wrongly convicted for murder and spending 18 years in prison. If you haven't seen it then I suggest it's well worth watching, I remember it very well myself.

And, in a final twist, just turned 18 Rubin had no idea that Mum had purchased the glove, and I only found out myself that the first time he had seen it was when he came in with Mum to collect. A very special moment.....

Phew, what a tale. We certainly won't be forgetting this one anytime soon.

Finally, a great project with Vanessa's skills put to the test with mounting and fixing the glove into position, and painting to black box frame. A job very well done indeed.

Just sharing this super cool project that left us in the last few days.

What a showstopper - a beautifully executed pastel painting in a double gold ornate frame.

Thanks Dan for allowing us to frame this (not so little) ripper!!

Hi Everyone,

Another exciting exhibition coming up. If you need anything framed we're here to help - but don't leave it till the last minute as sometimes takes a little time to get materials together.

Good luck!

We'll help with your framing of course!

What a start to the day....

Hi Everyone,

A very happy client only picked this up less than 24 hours ago and sent me this photo this morning with it hanging beautifully on their wall.

On a recent trip to China, Andrew and Janelle couldn't resist the allure of this magnificent silk work depicting the Karst Mountains which are a series of spectacular limestone formations created over millions of years, most commonly seen in the southern parts of China.

And after checking out many of the available framing options decided on this classic Charcoal and silver moulding which suits the silkwork perfectly. And, Andrew decided to use for hanging, a simple to use system which not only gives extra strength and support to the large frame (It measured approx 2metres wide x 90cms high) but also ensures that it will stay forever straight.

Simply marvellous result. Thanks guys for coming to see us and allowing us to frame this special project for you.

Hi Everyone,

A very special item left a couple of days ago and is now hanging in a very special place. And mixed emotions with these ones as both beloved pets within the portrait have passed over the "Rainbow Bridge". "Zig-Zag" on the left and "Lizzy" on the right both dearly loved and sorely missed.

But in a beautiful tribute, owner Dave crafted a magnificent Huon Pine frame and we were asked to mount the commission portrait and fit Art Glass so as to protect and enhance the portrait within.

And, the artist (Tabitha Eades) deserves a mention as this piece has captured the spirit of these two of man's best friends perfectly, and with the beaut frame and hanging in a perfect position in the owners home ensures they will never be forgotten. May they rest in peace ❤️❤️
