Kissing Point Softball Club was established in 1966 and has grown to become one of the most fun and family-friendly softball clubs in NSW. By 2013, KPSC had a total 143 registered players and 13 officials, which included 12 teams plus a Batter-Up program (an initiative introduced by NSW/Australian Softball).

As we conclude our 2026 season, I’ve been reflecting on just how fortunate our club is to have such an incredible committee.

Every committee member manages their own portfolio with dedication, passion and professionalism but what makes this group truly special is their willingness to jump in and help wherever needed. No task is ever "someone else’s job". Whether it's registrations, uniforms, fundraising, finances, equipment, trophies, communications or game day support, this team is always there backing each other up and making sure our club continues to thrive.

And while we get plenty of work done we also have a lot of fun together. Our committee calls are filled with laughs, ideas, problem-solving and the occasional bit of friendly chaos. It's that camaraderie that makes volunteering so rewarding and helps keep our club moving forward.

While I might have the title of President, the truth is that I could not run KP Softball Club without this presidential dream team:

When we talk about the teams taking the field each week, there's one team we can never forget... The Blues.

Without our umpires, there simply would not be a game. They are there ensuring the game is played fairly, keeping players safe, making the tough calls and supporting the spirit of softball from the first pitch to the last out.

We are incredibly proud to have a strong group of members participating in our Junior Blues Program, developing their skills and helping ensure the future of umpiring remains bright.
