5th in the World!
Absolute Elite performance by Max Norman at Triathlon Worlds in Pontevedra Spain.
5th in 25/29M in one of the most competitive age groups there is at this distance.
This is by far Maxie’s best ever performance on the program, his swim of 19:04mins (1500m) and ride 1:00:40hrs (40kms) averaging just on 40kms/hr on a hard, hilly bike course put him right there for the win in T2.
Got to be on your limit to be in the mix, and Max set it up perfectly.
He ran his heart out, good enough for top 5.

A world champs that’s held in the middle of Europe is the highest level there is in this sport and Max did himself and us proud.

A blustery morning at Albert Park didn’t stop our team from delivering some brilliant performances at Run Prix yesterday, with strong racing across the 5km and 10km events.

Meet at Lakeside Stadium Car Park from 6:10am
(Arrive up to 60mins prior to race start, allow time for 25min warmup prior to event)

Epic effort by our Amys Ride Team last Sunday at Lorne.
They were a band of brothers all prep pushing themselves collectively to new heights.
They all had a great experience, with Sean and Lukas both qualifying for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships in 2027 in France. Well done Lads

Well done to our two finishers at Sunshine Coast 70.3 on Sunday
Buddy Dempsey | Triathlon & Racing 5th O/ALL | 4th AG | 3:59:58hrs
Timely form check for Buddy ahead of Kona in a few weeks, strong hit out going sub 4hour in a highly competitive 18-24 age group. Lots of take aways to go away and work on with 4 weeks to the Big Dance.

Sebastian Tebbe 52nd O/ALL | 7th AG | 4:12:21hrs
Great swim, laid it down early on the bike but blew up on the run. Bike fitness not there YET for that kind of output and paid the price later. Given aspirations though, better to have rolled the dice to see where he is at, next up Melbourne.

Good luck to our riders this weekend at the Amy’s Great Ocean Road Gran Fondo in Lorne.
