Volunteers Required….

In return you will be in our special volunteers ballot for a London Marathon Place for 2027 with fantastic odds of getting in 😍

Each year we supply a full team to help London Marathon Events with their showcase 10k event in London.

The Vitalty London 10k takes place next Sunday, September 27th. Our amazing team of volunteers are looking for a couple more people to help out, as we are on T Shirt duty welcoming home all the awesome finishers from the elites, club runners and charity runners.

The official shift is from 07:30 - 13:30.

You will receive LME Kit, a place in our London Marathon Draw and the satisfaction of helping at an amazing event with some incredible people.
It’s a truly memorable and rewarding day ❤️

🏅 MEDAL MONDAY 🏅

Autumn race season is well and truly here and this weekend featured one of the biggest races of all, the Great North Run. Aside from that we had Fordys at races in Basildon to Richmond, Sevenoaks to Canterbury.

Whether you went out for a PB or just enjoyed a social run, well done for getting out and representing the club. We admire your effort and determination and love seeing the bling you pick up.

🏅 MEDAL MONDAY! 🏅

Another fantastic weekend of running is in the books, and as always, the Fordy Runs Running Club community has been out in force! 🙌🧡

One of the major highlights of the weekend was The Big Half in London, with thousands taking on the iconic 13.1-mile route through the capital. Huge congratulations to everyone who made their way from Tower Bridge towards that famous finish in Greenwich! 🏙️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Closer to home, there was plenty of racing action too, with our runners taking on events in Grays, Takeley and Banbury 🏃‍♂️💨 There was even a run around a theme park!

And of course, that wasn't all! Wherever our members were racing this weekend, there were medals earned, finish lines crossed, PBs chased and plenty of memories made. 🥳🏅

Whether you were taking on a huge city half marathon, supporting a local race, running a parkrun or representing the club elsewhere, we're incredibly proud of every single one of you! 🧡

From starting Couch to 5K just 18 months ago to becoming part of our Walsall Fordys family, Stephen’s running journey shows exactly what our community is all about — support, friendship and enjoying the miles together. 🙌
