Today we celebrate the incredible mothers, grandmothers and mother figures within our pony club community — the women whose love, dedication and encouragement help make our club so special. ❤️

From early mornings and late afternoons, to volunteering behind the scenes, setting up events, cooking in the canteen, helping at competitions, comforting nervous riders, cheering from the sidelines and supporting our club in countless ways — your commitment never goes unnoticed.

You are the heart of our pony club. Your kindness, patience and unwavering support help our riders grow not only as equestrians, but as people. The memories created, lessons taught and time given so generously are deeply appreciated by us all.

We are incredibly grateful to have such strong, caring and inspiring women in our lives and within our community.

Southport Pony Club would like to sincerely thank Bunnings Warehouse Australia (Southport) for the opportunity to host another successful sausage sizzle fundraiser. We are also incredibly grateful to Cathy, the Activities Organiser, for her generous donation of water coolers to support our club.

Throughout the day, we were truly heartened by the community’s support and generosity. From the gentleman who paid for 10 sausages and didn’t take any, to Tom who paid for 4 but only took 2 to pay it forward, and the many others who continued that kindness for several rounds—your generosity did not go unnoticed. We also thank the gentleman who paid double for his purchase, along with the countless people who said “keep the change” or added to our donation bucket.

A special thank you to our wonderful members who volunteered their time and energy to make the day such a success. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed—your support means so much to our club.
