Being in a rut doesn’t mean you’ve fallen off.

Can we normalise this? I'm so sick of seeing everything perfect and rehearsed. I like messy. Sometimes I need messy.
Life is messy.
Heavy.
Emotional.
Overwhelming.
And sometimes… you don’t rise to the occasion.
You cope.
And coping doesn’t always look pretty. If your able to self reflect it looks and feels pretty dam sh*tty.
But here’s the truth:
A rut is not the problem.
Staying there is.
You don’t need to punish yourself out of it. You don’t need a massive overhaul.
You just need one small decision that moves you forward again.
One workout.
One better meal.
One early night.
One small action..
That’s how you come back.
Not all at once.
But one step at a time.

In a rut? Do this. Don’t overthink it. x
I’ve been in a bit of a rut lately. Life stuff. Overwhelm.
You know the kind where everything feels heavy…and suddenly the gym, food, routine all slide.
And instead of helping mysel…Nope, I've been doing the exact opposite. 🥹
Skipping sessions.
Having the drink.
Spending money.
Avoiding the things that actually help.
Yep. That's me this week and honestly, lately 🙋♀️
So here’s what I’m doing (and what I want you to do with me ;)
Not a full reset.
Not a “start Monday.”
Just 10 minutes.
40 sec on / 20 sec off x 10
• Squats
• Push ups
• Glute bridge
• Star jumps or alt knee raises
• Plank
Repeat
That’s it.
No pressure. No perfection. Just interrupt the rut.
Because momentum doesn’t come from motivation.
It comes from movement. And we are human. Tha'ts ok too.
