Nothing says Christmas in July like good food, plenty of laughs, and even better company!

It was fantastic to have some of our Brisbane squad make the trip north to Mooloolaba to celebrate with our Sunny Coast crew. Days like these remind us that Aqualicious is about so much more than swimming—it’s about friendships, community, and making memories together, both in and out of the pool.

Centenary Classics 2. Looking back at our time at Centenary Aquatic Centre with a pic from 2017 promoting an upcoming swim meet when then Brissie squad mates Fernando and Pirie were ready to go head to head - Representing Peru and Australia but more importantly representing the great diversity of the squad.

Winter has a funny way of trying to convince us to stay home… but not this crew. ❄️🏊‍♂️

A huge shoutout to the 6 dedicated swimmers (plus Coach Foz!) who braved the winter chill for Wednesday night’s Sunshine Coast squad.

Smaller numbers meant more one-on-one coaching, extra technique work, and plenty of laughs along the way. The pool was warm, the company even warmer, and nobody left regretting they came. 🌈💙

Centenary Classics. To celebrate the legacy of Centenary Pool we will be looking back at some Aqualicious moments at the historic Brisbane Aquatic Complex. Like this one from December 2016.

The Aqualicious crew are big travelers - we have about 6 overseas or interstate at the moment. At breakfast on Sunday the coast crew bid bon-voyage to Jared and Kirk heading to their other home in Seattle. We may be oceans apart but we all swim under the same sun. Until we are all together again- be safe and just keep swimming.

Tonight’s state of swimming decider: strike a pose or just act causal. Either way well done to tonight’s swimmers giving it their all in an evil kick set and still being ridiculously photogenic.

A view from the top… of the week. Monday may seem daunting with ages to the weekend but really it should be embraced as a chance to work on your goals to be a better you, one swim at a time. Remember we offer free trials, so we could we could be part of those goals. Have a good week!

Coach Damo is swapping the pool deck for the bike as he takes on the Townsville to Cairns Charity Bike Ride, raising funds for the Children’s Cancer Institute Australia. 🚴💛 As always he’s giving of his time for a good cause, making a difference.
