Some overdue announcements for GMT4. The GMT4 Daytona version of the Garmin watch face has been updated with the other versions to follow shortly.

There are a number of new devices support since the last update along with many new features.

For those devices that support the Garmin developer software API 3.2 or greater then the Weather dial is now free! Older devices that cannot support that version of the software can still use the Weather dial if they have purchased an activation key and can access the website. Check the 'Supported Devices' page on the website.

The day/ date dial (see picture) is now supported across all devices and the watch logo image has improved on the larger watch faces.

There are a number of new dials types to support Body Battery, Stress and Recovery time.

For the latest devices that support rotated text, such as Fenix 8 devices, then when all numbers are displayed using the number style 1 the numbers on the outer dial are rotated (see picture).

The website has now been updated so you can now keep a default latitude and longitude position to use when fetching the latest weather updates if your device does not have a current GPS position available for the watch face to use.

Just go to the 'Sub Dials' tab and enter the position you want to use or press the 'Get Location' button to get your current GPS position.

GMT4 Tip - you can save power by switching to low power mode whilst the watch is in Do Not Disturb mode. When set the 'always on' second hand will switch off as will the regular website checks for latest information.

Simply set the 'Save Power when DND on' switch.

The website has been updated so you can now save your default location. When your watch does not have a current GPS position the default location can be used so you always get your regular weather updates.
