WELCOME JACKSON & ADDISON ❤️💙

We’re excited to welcome Jackson Vassallo and Addison McFarland to SDFNC for 2027!

Both fresh out of under 19s, the boys join our growing young group with plenty to look forward to.

Jacko joins us from Noble Park, and it’s unreal to have another father-son connection to add to the Springy list. Addison comes across from Chelsea Heights, having previously played alongside Jacko at Noble Park.

Welcome aboard, boys. Can’t wait to see you make your mark!

Ok one more… 👀

Caleb “Stretch” Hardisty is back for his second year!

The athletic 200cm ruck/forward will be looking to build on his first season and become a regular in our senior side.

With NBL1 basketball experience, Caleb brings plenty of height and athleticism, and we’re excited to see him continue to develop next season.

Great to have you back, Stretch! 🔥

FINNY LOCKED IN 🔒

Tyler Finn is back for 2027! With his first year at Springvale under the belt, the team is keen to have Finny back and excited to see him take the next step and make his mark in the midfield.

We cannot wait to see what this young man will produce in 2027!!

WELCOME JOEY VERNA 😈

The Springy forward line has another new face for 2027, with Joey Verna joining the Dees!

Joey comes to us from Gembrook, where he’s spent the past two seasons, having previously played at Noble Park.

At just 22 years old and standing 191cm tall we can’t wait to see Joey make his mark up forward and get to know everyone around the club.

Welcome to the Springy family, Joey!

WELCOME OBIE CHAMBERS

Obie joins us from Balwyn, where he was part of their 2025 senior premiership side in the Eastern league’s Premier Division!

The 20-year-old played with the Oakleigh Chargers under 16s and 17s, as well as Xavier College, before an ACL injury in 2024. He returned in 2025 and capped off his comeback with a senior flag.

We’re rapt to have Obie join our young group as we build towards 2027. Welcome to the Springy family! ❤️💙
