Tayla Furborough is back for season 2027!

After joining our team 1 half way through the season, we’re thrilled that Tayla has recommitted to Springy for next year alongside her VNL commitments with the Peninsula Waves.

As an absolute brick wall in defence and a fantastic on-court leader, as well as a great energy off the court too; we’re so excited to see what season 2027 brings for Tayla at Springy ❤️💙

Daniel “Sugar” Helmore is locked in for 2027!

A two-time David Hall Best & Fairest Medal winner, Sugar has been a huge part of our senior side and has proven himself as one of the club’s best.

After missing the 2026 season through injury, he’s hungry, ready to get back out there and determined to return to his best.

We can’t wait to see Sugar back in 2027 😈

ANGUS COOPER ❤️💙

Gus stepped up in a big way this year and quickly showed he can be a real force on the field.

He continues to grow with every game, and we can’t wait to see what he brings in 2027.

No doubt Gus will be a staple of our senior side for years to come.

DANIEL “SPENNA” SPENCE

Another huge re-signing for 2027, with Spenna locked in for another season at Springvale Reserve.

The ultimate team man and one of the most versatile players at the club!

Spenna is also closing in on 100 senior games for the club, we’re stoked to have him back for another year.

😈 KY ALLCOCK IS BACK! 😈

We’re stoked to announce that Ky Allcock has recommitted to Springvale Districts for the 2027 season!

Our 2025 Demon of the Year and one of the club’s young guns, Ky has already shown plenty of promise and was deservedly awarded Most Potential. After battling back strongly from injury, he’s ready to hit 2027 bigger and better!

Loved by his teammates and everyone around the club, Ky brings plenty of energy, talent and personality both on and off the field and we reckon his best footy is still ahead of him

SHAK’S BACK FOR 2027!

We’re stoked to have Shakore Bragg-Taylor recommit for the 2027 season!

Shak has been a massive part of our backline, consistently bringing his strength, composure and competitiveness to every game. After finishing runner-up in our 2025 B&F, he’s shown exactly what he’s capable of.

While injury limited his time on the field this season, Shak continued to show up, support his team mates and lead by example🙌🏻

We can’t wait to have you back out there Shak!! 👏🏻😈

Springvale Districts is thrilled to announce Sean Allcock as our 2027 Senior Coach 😈❤️💙

Sean’s football journey started as a junior at Springvale YCW, before returning to Springvale Districts as a player and captain. Now, he returns to the club in a new role, leading our Senior Football program.

Known throughout his playing days for his work ethic, preparation and hard edge, Sean is ready to bring those same standards to our current playing group.

With AFL Level 2 accreditation and more than 20 years’ experience leading Haileybury’s APS & AFSV football programs, Sean brings a wealth of coaching, leadership and high-performance experience. His work has included developing player pathways, strengthening football programs and championing player development, wellbeing and education.

We’re incredibly excited to welcome Sean into the role and see the energy, experience and expertise he’ll bring to Springvale Districts in 2027
