self on effective swimming tuition, providing its students with personable interaction, direction and consistency. The program is closely monitored and updated regularly with our instructors re-trained to ensure the teaching philosophy is carried across the entire school. Focus On Correct Technique
The Swimable program is based on the correct teaching of all four competitive strokes providing the possibility for any student to progress through to squad and club swimming level where technique is of paramount importance. This is in contrast to many programs that measure progress by timed swims, distance achievement or time spent at particular levels – none of which are a measure of quality. Minimal Use Of Floatation Devices
We believe that floaties, rubber rings and bubble belts only serve to provide students with a false sense of security in the water. Our program aims to ensure our students are competent swimmers who can get themselves to safety if they accidently fall in the water. Consistent Method Of Teaching
All Swimable instructors undergo regular training workshops and supervision to ensure a consistent method of instruction. This ensures that all students receive consistent instructions and technique development, regardless of which instructor or level. Our instructors are required to attend 80 per cent of set classes to ensure a level of consistency is achieved so that students are not confused by conflicting instructions and a trusting relationship is built with instructors. Programs For All Standards
From infants right up to competitive squad training, Swimable offers programs to suit all levels and interests. Swimable does not focus on competitive swimming instead placing emphasis on fun, fitness and a positive environment that educates students. Students are told why they perform particular skills, ensuring that they understand the tasks rather than just following instructions. Limited Class Sizes
Class sizes are limited to numbers that maximizes a child's participation in the nominated level. Swimable prides itself on a philosophy of effective swimming tuition, providing its students with personable interaction, direction and consistency. The Learn To Swim Program is closely monitored and updated, with our instructors regularly undergoing re-training, to ensure the teaching philosophy is carried across the entire school.

Jadah joined Swimable as a swimming instructor in April this year. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business and social media. His favourite hobbies include footy and travelling.

Jadah is a passionate teacher with a talent for improving his students' swimming techniques by constantly challenging them. His friendly personality and fun yet calm teaching style makes him a favourite among both students and staff. We also received wonderful feedback for his excellence in teaching across all levels.

Golsa completed her swim teaching qualification in April this year
and has been a valuable addition to our team. With her patience,
enthusiasm, and constant warm smile, she fosters a welcoming and
supportive learning environment for every student.

Her willingness to pick up cover shifts is invaluable. Her reliability and
consistency have provided great support to both staff and students,
and her can-do attitude is appreciated by both her peers and
management. Her positive influence is evident as her students
continue to grow, improve, and deepen their love for swimming. We
look forward to watching her develop her skills further.

Jemma has worked at Swimable since January this year as an Assistant in our Starfish classes. Ensuring the children are safe on the platform and learning, she has been a fantastic addition to our team.

Jemma’s empathy makes her a valued member of the Swimable team. She is very helpful to the deck staff in assisting with assessments and with packing up spare equipment. Her patience and reliability are highly appreciated by all staff and management.

Liam joined Swimable as a swimming instructor in March 2026. He commenced his Bachelor's in Science this year.
Liam has made good progress with us in a short time. He helped us immensely by working all 5 days of the April Holiday program and has received positive feedback from his students. We appreciate his reliability and punctuality. His friendly, easy-going nature is loved by both children and staff. His willingness to learn and take on new challenges is a huge asset to us.
