A great day of pétanque in Ballarat for our St Kilda players!

Despite the forecast, the rain kindly held off until late in the programme, allowing for an enjoyable day of competition.

Congratulations to our winning St Kilda team, Sönke & Chris.

And a special welcome back to Australia to dual club member Sönke — great to have you back competing with us 🇦🇺🇩🇪

Good work, Gino, finishing 4th, and well done to everyone who made the trip to Ballarat.

🇦🇺 Help Team Australia Get to Thailand! 🇹🇭

As we enter the final week of our 2026 Men's World Championship fundraising campaign, we want to say a sincere thank you to everyone across the Australian pétanque community who has already donated.

Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated and will help our players meet the travel costs of representing Australia at the World Championships in Thailand this November.

There's still time to make a difference!

If you've been thinking about contributing, now is a great time to get behind our team. Every donation, large or small, helps ease the financial commitment our players make to wear the green and gold on the world stage.

💚💛 Let's get behind Team Australia and our club member Guillaume.

A Great Afternoon of Pétanque at St Kilda! 🇫🇷🇦🇺

Warm weather, plenty of laughs and some creative play on the pistes made for a terrific afternoon at this year's SCOR Pétanque Challenge at the St Kilda Petanque Club.

SCOR - Australia, a French global insurance group, brought together 30 guests from Sydney and Melbourne for an enjoyable afternoon of friendly competition, business connections and great company.

A wonderful example of how pétanque brings people together, building connections and friendships beyond the workplace.

A big thank you to St Kilda Petanque Club and its members for preparing for the event and assisting throughout the day, and to the St Kilda Sports Club for looking after the beverage hospitality and helping make the afternoon such a success.

Another great showcase of the social and inclusive nature of our sport.

🎯 Another Big Weekend of Pétanque! 🏆🍷

It was a busy weekend for many of our club members, who followed Saturday’s Smythesdale tournament with a trip to Nagambie on Sunday to compete in the Mitchelton Masters Open Triples.

Once again, St Kilda players were among the prize winners, bringing home cash and excellent wines courtesy of event sponsor Tahbilk 🍷👏

With warm Sunday sunshine, great competition and plenty of camaraderie, it was another fantastic day on the pistes.

Well done to everyone who competed and represented the club over a great weekend of pétanque! 👏🎯
