Get ready for racing….. and fun times on Friday nights at the Ironside pool 😍

☀️ FRIDAY NIGHT SWIM CLUB IS BACK IN TERM 4! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

Summer is nearly here, and so is Ironside Swim Club!

Club Nights are one of our favourite parts of the season. Yes, there’s racing and the chance to improve your times, but it’s also about catching up with friends, cheering each other on, grabbing something from the BBQ and spending a relaxed Friday evening together as a community.

From Prep to Grade 6 and above, kids can take part in timed 25m, 50m and 100m races, while our younger “tadpoles” can join the fun with their free assisted 25m swim.

We are very excited and happy to introduce our newest GPSS instructor at Ironside…..
Mr Leo!!
Leo completed his teacher training earlier this year. In addition to his own experience as a competitive national level swimmer, he is a previous Ironside student and GPSS swimmer! Leo also brings extensive knowledge and positivity to our pool deck as the proud son of our super head coach Coach Stefano!

Whether it’s for fun, fitness, friendship or to fulfil a dream……GPSS swimming lessons combined with Ironside Club racing is the place to be!

Summer swimming is nearly here ☀️🏊‍♂️

That means plenty of racing and plenty of opportunities for everyone to get involved with ISC 🔵⚪️

Not sure how to join the club or enter meets? Send us a message or just grab our Head Coach Stefano at the pool — he’s usually pretty easy to find 😄

And make sure 1 November is in the calendar: Brisbane Relays Championships!
Fast swimming, loud cheering, team colours everywhere and, most importantly, relays are just way more fun than swimming on your own.

Anna kicked off the Queensland Short Course Championships by smashing 2.54 seconds off her 50m Butterfly PB! 💥

She’s proudly flying the Ironside flag this weekend. If you see her around school next week, make sure you give her a big cheer! 🦋🔵⚪️
