The club boasts an active membership of more than 100 rowers with hundreds more participating in the many programs each year.
Situated on the banks of the Brisbane River at St Lucia since 1911, the University of Queensland Boat Club provides a nationally recognised program for all levels of rower. Queensland’s Premier Club since 2000, UQBC continues to grow in strength with each year.

Join us in celebrating another fantastic year at the UQBC annual awards night on Saturday September 27th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at Patina Restaurant, Alumi court, UQ campus.
We would love for you to bring along your friends and family to join us for a night of recognition, reflection and celebrations as we toast to the success of the 2024/25 season and set our sights on the excitement of the 2025/26 season.
