Its been a couple weeks since - Nationals is done. The years flying events is basically done for us. Sunday fun flying will be it - along with projects/maintenance ready for next year.

If you haven't seen it already - Jacksons full flight from freestyle is here!! It didn't fully go to plan - nerves got him a bit, but he did get it back on track towards the end. He's already scheming a new routine - despite 1 comp per year, it doesn't matter to him. Its fun every other weekend!! Maybe he can display it at some local clubs haha

Huge thanks as always to the ones who support us - Hammerhead RC FrSky FRSKY Servo Team - the building benches are already loaded for 2027 planes!!!

Resurrecting an old airframe!!! Summer build time is on the go. This things been sitting in the garage for a long time. We’ve got some spare parts hanging out. The challenge is to get it together, and use what we have!!!!
So far we’ve had to buy a cowl (didn’t have one) and a fuel tank. Oh and some wiring bits. Will it be imac?? Or freestyle??? Who knows just yet.

What we do know is the FrSky servos in the tail via Hammerhead RC FRSKY Servo Team are suuuuper quick!!!

Will have to sift through the ton of vids and photos - but for those following along, results from Nationals are in.
Jackson claimed 1st for sportsman. And 2nd in his first ever freestyle.
Dave coming 3rd in Sportsman as well.

The Sportsman perpetual trophy has come cracking qld names on it over the last few years. To follow Andy, Leighton, Stirlo, Benny and add Jackson on now - 5 in a row for Qlders!!!

Ben Payne grabbing a 2nd in Intermediate was super cool to see. Benny has been a solid for us getting going in IMAC. His calling and general help for both of us goes a long way.
Massive thanks for all your help.

The ASAA AGM was held over the weekend as well and Jackson got a bit of a hat tip plaque for 2026 Rising star for his efforts the last 12 months.

Just getting in from dinner of the 1st of the return leg back to Brisbane. We’ll finish the rest off tomorrow!!
