Retatrutide is super useful at dropping the stress off during a prep but something you should be aware of

Due to the slowed GI motility we are now going to have a slowed absorption of carb and a less predictable load

Super compensation of glycogen takes roughly 36 hours or “up to” reta is going to delay that further and I’m not sure by how much making it an liability in the final week imo

The bigger and more experienced you are as a bodybuilder the higher your baseline sympathetic tone already is.

Your body is carrying more muscle mass, running more compounds, training at higher loads.

the downstream effect is always the same.
You’re doing everything right on paper and still not progressing at the rate you should be.

The answer usually seems like it’s more of food or PED’s but it’s quite the opposite

Most bodybuilding diet are going to be cheaper than the average persons weekly grocery bill

As you get bigger you eat a little more protein but it’s mostly carbs which is cheap

Don’t let this deter you it’s not necessary

I’d much rather an athletic pick an exercise that feels good for them and that they can engage with well rather than something specific.

I give quite a lot of freedom within my programming for all my athletes as I do think it’s important. We understand what exercises are being performed but there’s no better efficacy to one over the other just different fatigue costs that we need to take into consideration.
