Stanthorpe Ladies Golf Results Wednesday 02 September 2026.

Today was the Monthly Medal and Putting Competition, combined with the first round of the Club Championships.

Linda Kelly, continues to demonstrate her excellent golfing abilities and won the Monthly Medal with a very impressive 71 nett. Lynette Ludlow, who also had an excellent round of golf, was runner up with 72 nett. Lynette also won the Putting competition with 31 putts. Lisa Stuart, always a steady, competitive golfer, won the gross event with 89 gross

Pin shots were taken out by Trish Fittock on the 12th, Catherine Fletcher on the 2/11th, Lynette on the 7/16th and Lisa on the 17th.

The Sponsor for Saturday 29th of August was Michael Thompson. Michael requested a two ball Ambrose with each player required to have nine drives. This form of the game required a great deal of tactical intrigue and players tried to play to their combined strengths. Thank you Michael Thompson.

Runners Up were Brendan Barker and Raymond Adams.
The Run Downs went to Lochie Hendry and Sam Dowie, Gordon Rigden and Barry Jones, Keith Jones and Richard Reardon, Kev Rowlings and P Dudley, Casey Leotta and David Reeves.

Ladies Pin Shots went to Helen Jones, Irene Green, Lisa Stuart and Linda Kelly.
Men’s pin shots went to Scott Constable, Casey Leotta, Angelo Maugeri, Lochie Hendry, Raymond Adams and Luke Holden.

Stanthorpe Ladies Golf Results Wednesday 19 August 2026.

A Single Stableford competition was the event for the lady golfers today.

Linda Kelly is playing beautiful golf and led the field and came in to win with 32 stableford points. Lorraine Evans also played well and was runner up with 29 stableford points.

Mary-Catherine Fletcher "Fletch", who is new to the Stanthorpe Ladies Golf Team, is improving each week she plays. Fletch claimed the pin shots on holes number 12 and 7/16. Linda Kelly was closest to the pin on the 2/11 and Trish Fittock won the pin shot on the 17th.

Stanthorpe Golf Club Report for Saturday 15th August 2026

Golfers are a peculiar sort of people; they love being on the course no matter what.

In fact, this brings a little verse to mind; ‘Whether the weather be fine, or whether the weather be not, we will whether the weather what ever the weather, whether we like it or not.’

And Saturday was no exception. It was tee shirt time … until it was not … but whatever the weather, we loved being there.

We had the sponsorship of the Hendry family on Saturday and this made it a special day for us all as the Hendry Clan is well represented in the Club membership. A big thank you to the Hendry Clan. John (Chook) Hendry gave us a short history of the family’s multi generational
contribution to life on the Granite Belt.

Congratulations to the Men Golfers. The Competition was broken up into A, B and C Grades.
A Grade winner was Phil Mihulka, and runner up, Matt Waterworth.
B Grade went to John Slack (from Inglewood) and Todd Beckett.
C Grade went to Ron Batterham and Josh Kerr (from Warwick).

Tenterfield), Mark Hendry and Brendon Barker.

STANTHORPE GOLF CLUB RESULTS 9/8/2026

Stalwarts of the game fronted up for a second round of golf, over the weekend, on Sunday.

13 pairs fought it out for the Mens and Ladies Foursomes titles as they are coveted trophies.

Sponsor for the event was Alan Walker. The club thanks Alan for his sponsorship, continuing support and valuable input into the club.

Ladies Gross winners were Lynette Ludlow and Lisa Stuart.
Ladies Nett winners were Mandy Benussi and Sandra Ellis.

Mens Overall Gross winners were David Reeves and Mark Hendry.
Mens B Grade Gross went to Eric Ree and Santo Cavallaro.
Mens Best Nett was won by Chook Hendry and Zac Hendry.

Saturday was a brilliant day for Golf.

Congratulations to the Men Golfers, Richard Reardon had a purple patch with 40 Stableford points and Luke Brunckhorst was the Runner Up.

Stanthorpe Ladies Golf Results Wednesday 05 August 2026.

The ladies competed for the Monthly Medal and Putting competition today.

The "Kelly Gang" and Jonesey did it again. Helen Jones came in the winner with 76 nett and Linda Kelly was Runner Up with 79 nett.

Lisa Stuart won the Gross score with 97. Lisa and Helen both tied for the putting competition with 32 putts each.

Pin shots were won by Lisa on the 12th and 2/11th and Lorraine Evans on the 7/16th.
