The Walkerville All Cars Club held its first Go-Kart evening for the year at Kartmania Gepps Cross last night.

Thank you to everyone who attended and a big thanks to Stephen Barker for organising.

Was it fun?
Was it chaos?

OH YOU BET IT WAS! 😆

The scoring was a mystery but resulted in the following:

1) Damien Rollond
2) Stirling Jarrad
3) Anthony Dally (only by avoiding the huge 6 Kart pile-up he probably caused 🤔)

Hats off to the ladies that attended, Rebecca Boggiano for the swiftness (despite a wonky car), Georgina Zadow for not giving an inch at anytime, and Kayla Amani who loves having a real go and joining in. Be great to have more attend next time! 🙂

Who was fastest you ask?
Stirling Jarrad (2024 Rally Skills Program Student) absolutely dominated, with fastest time for the day seen at KartMania and 7th fastest so far for the month. Our talent spotter for the evening (Dave Foster who arrived too late to start) said he was so clearly the fastest with smart cornering and smooth racing lines that always kept the momentum. Well done Stirling. Less than 1 second off Chaz Mosterts time is an achievement! 😎💪

Time to pore over the statistics below to discover where that 3rd place interloper should really have finished. 😋

The next one will be next month some time, so keep a lookout. Getting 15 participants would be great.

A few Walkerville All Cars Club members went to the SA Hillclimb Championship hosted by Hillclimb SA at the Shell V-Power Motorsport Park over the weekend.

The weather was a little bit wild but by the end of Sunday we were rewarded with 3 nice dry runs and PB’s falling like dominoes.

Thank you to the team of organisers, sponsors, officials, marshals and volunteers that made this event happen for everyone. A huge effort with some challenging conditions at times!

Congratulations also to our 2026 Rally Skill Program student Emma Branum for being the fastest lady of the day (59.19s) and to our 2025 Rally Skills Program student Rebecca Boggiano for laying down times that an Excel shouldn’t be doing (66.40s).

If you think Women in Motorsport is awesome you should be attending the Women In Motorsport Dinner at the Astor Hotel, on the 9th October. Representatives from government and guest speakers recounting their on going Motorsport journey will encourage and inspire anyone. Open to ladies only, get your tickets fast!

Walky Park hung out with some other Nissan Pulsar aficionados on Saturday night to give the clubs promotional vehicle a run and then cruised to Parafield Airport to check out the usual Saturday night car scene.

If you like Nissan Pulsars you can also learn the skill of rally driving in one with the Walkerville All Cars Club Rally Skills Program!

The clubs August General Meeting is on this Wednesday night (Wed 19/08/2026).

7:30pm at the Walkerville RSL.

We’re always up for some laughs and a feed beforehand at the OG Hotel @ 6pm before moving on to the meeting proper. You should come and join us!

Rally For Life! 🙂

The RallySchool Adelaide, Truro SA Autocross Series at Walky Park was run and won on Sunday 9th August 💪

Thank you to all the club members, volunteers and competitors that made it happen!

It was a rather spectacular day, the tracks were a little muddy in places and it was topped off by some crazy weather rolling through around 3pm which unfortunately brought the day to a close with heavy rain, lightning and thunder.

Despite the wet end we had a good field and great competition! 😎
