What a cracker day for bowls…..

Today we had our club 4’s with cracking games.

In the first game we had

With the team of Micky Fawthrop coming away victors of 23-10.

Unfortunately we are cancelling the WCBC Power Play Triples, due to I’d say bowlers not liking change.

We will work on a shorter version for a future tournament that would work with the Labor Club's new hours and bowlers.

We really apologise for any inconvenience.

I’m absolutely honoured and grateful to be given the opportunity to serve as President of Weston Creek Bowling Club once again.

A huge thank you to all the members for your support and confidence in me. It really means a lot, and I don’t take the role or the responsibility lightly.

Weston Creek is more than just a bowling club — it’s a fantastic group of people, great mates, plenty of laughs, and a real sense of community. I’m incredibly proud to be part of it.

We’ve got an awesome club, awesome people and a lot to look forward to. I’m looking forward to another great year together, working hard, having a few laughs and, of course, enjoying plenty of bowls along the way.

Thanks again to everyone for your support. I’m very proud to be your President, and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together.
