🏌️‍♂️ LEGACY DAY IS COMING TO STRAHAN GOLF CLUB! ⛳

Dust off the golf clubs… or come and borrow ours!

Whether you’ve never swung a club before, haven’t played in years, or you’re one of our regulars, Legacy Day is the perfect way to start your golf journey — or keep it going.

📅 Saturday 24 October
⛳ Golf starts 11am
🎯 A fun trick 9 holes — expect a few surprises!
🍻 Plenty of laughs along the way
🙌 Everyone welcome — golfers and non-golfers alike

And following the golf, we have something pretty special…

At 4pm, we’ll be presenting Life Membership to Jeffrey Hutcheson, recognising his contribution and commitment to the Strahan Golf Club. We’d love to see plenty of members, friends and locals there to help us celebrate Jeff.

No clubs? No worries.
No handicap? No worries.
Never played? Even better.

Come down, have a crack and enjoy a great day at the Strahan Golf Club. ⛳🍻

🍹⛳ TOMMY’S BEHIND THE BAR… AND HE’S GONE FANCY!

The sun’s out and Tommy has decided the ladies deserve something a little more exciting than the usual today. 😂

On Tommy’s cocktail list:

🍸 Cape Codder — Vodka, cranberry & lime
🍹 Cape Godder — Gin, cranberry & lime

Cold, refreshing and perhaps a little dangerous after a round of golf. 😜

Come down, have a hit, grab a drink and see if Tommy’s cocktail-making skills are as good as his golf!

⛳ Strahan Golf Club — everyone welcome.

⛳ A LITTLE COURSE CARE GOES A LONG WAY 🌧️

Winter has definitely left its mark on the course, so we’re asking all members and players to give the fairways a little extra love while things are wet underfoot.

If you’re using a cart, please stick to the sides of the course wherever possible and avoid the softer/wetter areas.

And if the legs are willing — walk where you can! 👟⛳

A little care now will make a big difference when the weather turns and the course starts to dry out.

Thanks everyone — look after the course and it’ll look after your golf. 😉

🎆 CRACKER NIGHT IS ON TONIGHT AT THE STRAHAN GOLF CLUB 🎆

It wouldn’t be Cracker Night on the West Coast without us all nervously watching the weather radar all day 😅🌧️

Just a heads up —
If we only get light drizzle, Ryan and the fireworks crew can STILL send the fireworks skyward 💥

However, if heavy rain rolls in, the fireworks may need to be postponed for safety reasons.

BUT… the Clubhouse will still be pumping! 🍻🔥

The girls are cooking up a storm in the kitchen, the heaters are on, and we’re also celebrating a VERY special guest’s 50th birthday tonight 🎂🥳

So grab the kids, grab your mates and get on down to the Club — because there’s always something happening at the Strahan Golf Club.

Classic West Coast chaos.
Good people.
Great food.
And hopefully… BIG BANGS 💥
