The NSJTA wins the 2024 Pat Pearce Shield!! 🏆👏👏👏🫶🫶🫶 (Oct 4th, 5th & 6th)

2 of our Strathmore juniors were a part of the winning Pat Pearce Shield team!! Congrats NSJTA and Xavier Gowland & Nate Swale. Team events are one of the greatest experiences you can have as a tennis player.

Xavier was also the winner of the Bob Pascoe Award!! This award is given to an NSJTA player that exemplifies all the characteristics that Bob (who sadly passed in 2010) was a big believer in and who played a significant role in team events.

Congratulations to Strathmore boys Karim, Zayn and Brax for all winning their respective age groups at Hume yesterday!! 👏💪🤩

Another successful season for our club, which saw 4 teams play in a grand final, and 2 walk away premiers. We are so proud of our junior members, and hope you enjoyed the end of season bbq 🎾

Congratulations to our c grade ladies team who are now premiers, in their first season back at tennis. They won in a nail biter against Gladstone Park 27-25!! 🏆 🎾 good luck to our other senior teams competing over the next few nights 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Flashback to our club champs last month. Our two finalists of Presidents plate, Ray defeating Keshan in another close set. Ray made quite a few appearances in the finals over both weekends, which is a huge effort considering he only started playing competitively just over 12 months ago. This is why we love tennis, it’s for all ages and levels 🎾

The tennis future is bright for these two passionate players 🎾

Almost 20 male members entered our Men’s open singles. We had some long close games, with plenty of tie breakers! Congratulations to our winner Jayke, who defeated Rob in a close set. We hope you enjoy your sunnies 😎

How fun were our club champs this year?

Congratulations to our Women’s Open Singles finalists Charlotte and Annabelle. Charlotte jumped in to help us run the event, which hasn’t run for 10 years. The last time it ran her very own mum Fiona (one of our amazing coach’s) took out the title. What a fun story, keeping it in the family ❤️
