And to the people who kept the whole thing moving for 13 hours straight.

Dj Vic, keeping the energy high from first heat to last. Jeremy “Rookie” Austin, holding down the mic and the floor all day. Andy Crawshaw, somehow everywhere at once with three cameras in hand, capturing the moments we’ll be reliving for a long time.

Anyone can say they have community, but you can’t fake this.

13 hours of watching people show up for each other.

Owners, managers, coaches, members and volunteers judging heats while pushing every athlete on the floor to keep going.

Locations showing up in numbers to back their people. Competitors giving everything they have, then turning around and cheering just as hard for the person beside them. 

An HQ team that spent a year building this moment.

And when the final heat crossed the line, 13 hours into competition, people were still there.

Still cheering. Still celebrating. Still together.

This is a moment we’ll remember forever. 

Global Games is a competition, but this is what it’s really about.

You can build a workout. You can build an event. But you can’t manufacture a community like this.

Grateful for every person who made Global Games what it was. Can’t wait for the next one.

We have an incredible 32 entries across the two days, with some members taking on both solo and doubles events.

After five weeks of Sunday classes, the hard work and preparation is done. Now it’s time to enjoy the experience and show everyone what you’re capable of.

Good luck to all our Fitstop Strathpine legends competing. We’re so proud of the effort you’ve put in and can’t wait to cheer you on! ❤️💪

This is what it means to train at a gym that puts community first 💙💙

On Saturday, we held a Sweat for a Cause in loving memory of Brianna Cronin, Brett Cronin’s daughter.

While many of our members never had the opportunity to meet Brianna, Brett has been a valued part of our Fitstop family for a long time. When one member of our community grieves, we all grieve with them.

Together, we raised $500 in gold coin donations, on top of the donations made through the GoFundMe.

The emotion in the gym was felt by everyone who walked through the doors, with so many members wearing Brianna’s favourite royal blue and native plant colours in her honour.

Although Brianna is no longer with us, her memory lives on through her family and everyone who loved her.

Thank you to our incredible community for showing up and helping Brett bring Brianna home.

Together, we are one 💙

💙💙💙 Saturday Sweat for a Cause 💙💙💙

Today, our Fitstop community came together to support a very valued member who has tragically lost his daughter, Brianna, in Bali 💙

We raised funds to help bring Brianna home to her family and showed up with so much love and support.
Thank you to everyone who donated, showed up and stood together as a community 💙💙
