ONE SPORT. ONE STANDARD.

The paddles pictured here represent one submission to USA Pickleball. Three similarity applications. Two new models.

40 paddles. Six shipping addresses. Over US$20,000 in fees. A two month wait.

For results within two weeks, add another US$10,000.

To certify these same paddles with UPA-A, we would face a similar process and additional costs.

Pickleball currently has two governing bodies with overlapping rules but different tests. The result is a costly process for manufacturers and confusion for players.

At Six Zero, we have invested over US$500,000 in laboratory equipment. Even with those resources, we are sometimes left scratching our heads over testing outcomes. We also have concerns about the consistency and transparency of onsite testing methods.

Our sport deserves clear standards, transparent testing, and fair representation for everyone.

We stand with UPA-A’s call for dialogue and support a single, unified governing body.

I’d much rather be designing paddles than talking to a camera… but here we are 😂

For my first attempt at one of these videos, I thought I’d show you around Six Zero HQ here on the Sunshine Coast.

This is where a lot of what you see from Six Zero comes to life. Our retail shop, our inventory, our R&D space and most importantly, some of the people behind it all.

I’ve spent a lot of time behind the scenes building Six Zero, so I figured it was probably time I started showing you a little more of what goes on back here.

Hope you enjoy the tour. I have a feeling this won’t be my last video.
