Monday arvo game awareness session. It's always been very interesting to me how to coach this skill. In some way I think it comes very naturally to junior cricketers and other ways it's a skill that needs to be drilled hard into those that it dosent come naturally too. All the same I love coaching the less obvious 1 percenters of the game that only come through experience of match play.
Weds morning early bird nets and fielding session. Brisbane Boys Grammer School has the best facilities I've seen ever I reckon! Such an honour.

Training Ideas: Personally I love tennis courts for cricket training. Outside barriers, safe environment, line markings, adequate spacing, flat surfaces are some of the great benefits of finding local public tennis courts for some awesome cricket practice!
Have fun and enjoy spending quality time with Mum, Dad, family or a bunch of mates! Improve your basic skills base and learn to fly with Cricket! Get searching!!!

Outdoor game/ training scenarios are just the best way to improve game awareness/skills/game plans/fielding positions for younger cricketers. Get out there and see it, practice it and then do it. Developing good habits takes time and many repititions.
